Well, I can't find the 2024 general discussion thread yet. I'm providing a thread to house it before mods will make one.

Because Austria won anyway. But 2011 it mattered a lot. :se: got robbed of a deserved Televote Victory.

I hate it that the 2020 slogan was "Open up" and then it being very fit for a 2021 contest

It was the most original/creative one in the last 10-15 years, really, and that says a lot. It was really well connected to the identity and design of the contest too.
I literally didn't remember 2023's slogan already, I had to google it, that's how memorable slogans usually are.

I liked Awakening and Confluence of Sound. From the cringe ones, We Are One, Join Us (if we exclude that unfortunate hashtag) and Under the Same Sky were fine.
Feel the Rhythm, True Fantasy, Share the Moment, Feel Your Heart Beat, All Aboard and Open Up were fine as well. However, 2015 - 2017 was such a terrible run, but the worst one, imo, was Light Your Fire.

I actually feel that 2023 was one of the better slongans we have had given that the circumstances for its hosting actually gave the slogan meaning for once

I hate that they want to speed up the voting process to cater to the short spam of the TikTok generation. They already killed some of the suspense and frankly if you can't watch the voting then Eurovision isn't for you, it's an integral part of the concept.
