I can't believe you ACTUALLY say that there are people who ask an innocent question out there who deserve 'even less respect' to whatever. You are the one saying that Eurovision doesn't deserve respect, so don't act surprised that the journalists attracted to this event are not up to your actual high horse standards. If you don't want to take the contest seriously, fine, but then also don't expect the 'journalists' to do a serious job.
You say it's actually refreshing to hear this kind of answers, I say it's rude. It's not too hard to answer a little, innocent question nicely and not make yourself look like an asshole.
Vektor pushed it a bit far with saying that they don't deserve respect, but he is actually right about the stupidity of some question. And this is certainly not the only problem. The biggest problem is when you have to answer the same shallow questions 300 times in 3 months. And forgive me for not taking ESC so seriously. I guess I am not allowed to watch any longer according to you, cuz I am being so disrespectful towards the holliest of gay holidays. For god's sake, stop making drama. We get it, you hate them. But we still love you. Come, let me give you a friendly hug

I was just a little irritated by saying that people do not deserve respect, and basically with the 'lol' start of his post as well because it comes across as if he thinks his opinion is better than others. I'm also irritated with the not so friendly answer to the question and I do think this could be answered in another way, and I do think it comes across as rude towards people who just care for something you decided to participate in.
Carian, I get your point but I'm not too fond of twisting my words into 'not allowing you to watch Eurovision' or something. I don't take Eurovision that seriously as well but the fans who are out there in the press conference do. I just think they deserve a polite answer on one little innocent question. That's all.

Sorry if it came across more fiercely than I meant to do so. Certainly I did not mean to make drama. I don't hate them, but I'm not flattered by the way they handled this at all. That's it.

I like you xkiss And I totally respect you for admitting that you were a tinny bit too fierce. It's not worth in the end of the day. Maybe I was a bit sarcastic about when I twisted your words. I hope you didn't take any offense. So, yeah, let's xhug

PS: I am mentally already prepared that Netherlands is going to win this year, though the song is too "American" for my taste. But I have totally the same feeling like I had it last year with Netta. Totally same. So, if my insticts don't elude me, ESC is coming back to Netherlands after many, many, many years.

Don't worry, no offense was taken xup Glad we could be honest towards each other.

And, I cannot lie, I have certainly been crossing my fingers past two weeks and will do for the coming days for a Dutch win. I think Arcade would be a deserving winner, Duncan is such a loving person, and it would be great to see Eurovision in the Netherlands next year. But let's see what's going to happen! Anything is possible, and whatever happens, I've enjoyed this season so much and am proud. :)

Happy to see "Sebi" in so many Spotify Viral charts. It's a perfect Spotify song, that's for sure. :)

I pray they get a decent starting position in the first half xpray They'll stand out anyway, but it would be nice to see Slovenia perform later for once. Maraaya were 1st, Lea was 3rd...

The Russian and Dutch ballads will probably be 11th and 13th though :(

Maybe Sergey and Duncan should go out and solve the problem like real men, while Zala and Gašper perfom in their stead?

Have you seen? We are between two really uptempo songs. I cant believe it, this is will be really the best possible contrast. ESC gods really like us this year. Between Sweden and Cyprus

The guy who asked Zala and Gašper is actually the lead singer from Sestre who represented Slovenia in 2002 (if I remember correctly). He is a huge ESC fan, but surely he is not a real journalist in Slovenia. Maybe a blogger or something like this.

I KNEW that was him! I was shocked when someone in here (could be you again, can't remember ) pointed him out last year! And while watching the press conference I thought it was him, rewinded it but I thought "naah".

I wonder if the fans and journalists know that he's among them. I'd definitely take a picture with him. 2002 was my first contest and Samo Ljubezen was one of my favorites. It still is.

Zala and Gasper were on their level on Tuesday.
I must say that Eurovision should try to retain and exploit more honest and real people like them. If they are being criticized for "not looking to camera", it will push away all true artist that maybe wanted some day to come here.
I like when they criticize concept of ESC. Sometimes, journalists and such treat performers like machines.
If performers would have more solidarity for each others, it would push away some bad guys from there.
Eurovision is tv show, but it should try to raise quality of music, and also quality of people performing there, just like those two lovely persons.

I always like to see real couples, where love is burning in theyre eyes. Magical.

Hope they will win on Saturday. It sounds crazy, but Leicester won Premier League also...

Nearly all of my votes will be going towards this on Saturday's final, it's my most played Eurovision 2019 song on Spotify by a LOT and their performance looking into each others eyes deeply in love just warms my heart every time. I believe Slovenia is going to get their best ever result with "Sebi".

Say what? The second latest starting position for ballads go to Zalasper in the final? OMG YAAASS!! xheat

Björkman heard my prayer, they will stand out perfectly between Sweden and Cyprus. Now I'm super excited! They have all it takes to go places.
