Does Klemen sing? Because he looks great on stage (like I've said a million times before). I think he could rock the stage :)

He sings a lot, actually.

He was a member of the show called Hri-bar, where he imitated famous Slovenian singers (click here). You can't take this videos seriously, because they're a part of a joke.

He sang in other TV shows too, for example: Zvezde pojejo (Singing with stars), where he sang with Nuša Derenda:


He sang on EMA too:

So yeah, he sings a lot and he's good at it but he's currently very busy with acting in a play called "Boat for Dolls".

Thanks Nejc for sharing those! He has the star factor, so I think that it's good for Slovenia to send him. I remember seeing him on EMA this year (such a great host), his singing is really great, plus he's really charismatic and he's not boring to look at on stage. 16 Let Skomin matches his vibe and his voice really well.

Perhaps, he could beat Maja's placing ;) I really wish that he participates in EMA next year :)

I'm a new fan of Klemen after this ESC :D I case he can sing I prefer to see him representing Slovenia and my votes will definitly go for him ;)

There are some confirmed and unconfirmed news:

Confirmed:
- Slovenia will participate next year
- There will be a show called Misija Evrovizija (Mission Eurovision) with a host: Klemen Slakonja
- The concept will be similar to Dora 2011, Azerbaijan 2011, Germany 2010,..
- "Mission Eurovision" will end with a special show: EMA 2012, where we'll select our song

Unconfirmed:
- Maja Keuc will be one of the hosts
- There will be some foreign songwriters
- The show will kick off in autumn and end in February (with EMA)

All the details will come out on 20.6. so stay tuned! :D

But I think, you mean Germany 2010 ("Unser Star für Oslo")... in 2009, we had an internal selection

Oh no! It's too bad they went down this path. I believe EMA 2011 was one of the best national finals last year and it's a shame that it will be discontinued.

Another big shame is that Alenka Godec never got her shot to represent Slovenia. She's a great performer but she just never had the right song. I really liked "Hocem stran" from 2006 despite it being a carbon copy of a Basement Jaxx song:

Well to be honest I don't like the fact that there won't be any well known artists... Of course this might work but I was hoping to see Nina Pušlar again...
