The girl is just so lovely, ah?

No i will never agree with those who tells us it's a nightmare, awful song, worst song of the year, etc... it is really much more acceptable than faceless Azerican song (or Amerbaijan? nevermind). To say more, it is one of my favorite entries of this year and i simply adore such music) i know i should have been born somewhere in Czech rep. or Slovenia, or other ex-Jugo, but for me that it just so. I adore that austrian-dutch-czech-slovenian kind of folk and the language is killing me. 10 points from me personally)

btw i don't remember any entry from Slovenia except for Karmen Stavec that i would like less than on 6 of 10 which is 'better that indifferent'. Omar, Anžej, Tanja Ribi?, Vili Resnik were simply masterpieces, Rebeca Dremelj, 1xband, Alenka - excellent, Nuša - quite fine... Quartissimo are not that interesting but i was ready to add some extra points for Matjaž

I like all of them, apart from 2004... One or two are a bit boring (1995, 2005) but I still like 'em a lot. Quartissimo's amazing! Also, I really like Karmen Stavec.

94ayd, if Omar is boring, then i dunno... one of the best songs i ve evr heard...

no, Karmen is a boring schlager) Anžej is a bit schlager-ish too, but not that much, and he's got fabulous voice, not even saying about a melody

The song of Omar is good but his presence is similar to one of a dead fish... Still, Mihai's even worse. Don't you like schlager?! It's a cool disco tune to me.

I have read somewhere that Omar would return to EMA. But he wants to sing in English, not Slovenian. If the rules say he must sing in Slovenian, he will not take part.

?? ? ?????...
:D

btw Omar is not enough for a song to be great. The song with which he participated last time was dull, and most of his songs are not interesting for me, except for Ves Tvoj Svet which is wonderful, but it is alike Stop)

I hope Omar returns :D

"Stop" was terribly underrated :( It was imo the best song in 2005.

Stop is one of the most underrated songs ever, dudes

I agree on slovenian totally, one of the most beautiful languages. I'd prefer everyone in Slovenia to sing in Slovenia... actually almost all of them indeed were in slovenian, hmmm... except for mr. nobodyDežan. But i'd prefer Plan B version, definitely, i like the lyrics (and lyrics of Omar too. I adore Balkan songtexts with constant lies, betraying and broken hearts))) :D

I had a chance to hear the English version of this entry, as well as the German one. I had nightmares after listening to both of these

TV2 will broadcast a very interesting show tonight at 20.50, they also offer webcast!

Some more info: it's part 1 (part 2 will follow next Thursday) where all entries will be presented, guests in that show are Omar Naber, Nusa Derenda, Alenka Gotar, Matjaz Bogataj from Quartissimo, one of the Sestre "girls", Peter Poles (the funny spokesman), Miran Cvetko (OGAE Slovenija) and a few others.

It was quite funny. Peter Poles is just georgeous, little Matjaz is such a sweet guy too. :D Andrej Hofer is great as well, though he looked as if he had changed over to the tax office recently. But he'll be the slovenian commentator again, I enjoy very much listening to his voice.
