At least some of those artists may be those who were not able to make it to San Remo due to the prior reported issues some artists had in getting there.Tomorrow the last 34 singers for the audition-casting!

The list of the emerging semifinalists will be out probably on 17th Jan.
Tomorrow at 21:10 CET on San Marino RTV a program will be broadcast showing the Casting and Academy phases as well as the backstage. Other 2 episodes on 21th and 28th Jan.

Some cringeworthy covers of past Eurovision entries were included. There were a few more professional sounding performers with more promise. Federico Barroni, who appears towards the end, performed Italian rap and he's one I think is worth a further look. Elisa Del Prete and Williams Leslie Yapo were among the handful or so of others that stood out as not sounding nervous being vocally shaky, as most were.
Diego Federico I could see as a backing dancer. I think at present he would be better suited to that than being a singer but there is precedent for Eurovision artist who emphasise other aspects of their performance than live singing.

Just watched the whole show: As one of the biggest fans of San Marino for the past 6 contests years, it's my duty to give SMRTV my certified feedback.
Two acts ate their competition for breakfast:
-Nanowar of Steel
-Federico Baroni
These three absolutely deserve a spot in the final:
-Giada Pintori
-Maria Chiara Leone
-Anna Turrei

Just watched the show - many shaky vocals and generic songs. But to me, some stood out. Maybe not always the best vocals, but San Marino usually sends eccentric entrys and I think, it should be that way! So my faves:

Me expecting Nanowar of Steel and Federico Baroni to be sure qualifiers before looking at the list:
Happy that at least Camille Cabaltera, Maria Chiara Leoni, Giada Pintori, Garon x Duan, and Joe Romano and The Stolen Clipper qualified.
