Every Russian woman needs to know (Ха, ха)
You're strong enough to bounce against the wall (Эй, эй)
Every Russian woman needs to know (Ха, ха)
You're strong enough to bounce against the wall (Эй, эй)

Every Russian woman needs to know (Ха, ха)
You're strong enough to bounce against the wall (Эй, эй)
Every Russian woman needs to know (Ха, ха)
You're strong enough (Эй, эй)

Эй, русский женщин, давай, голосуй за меня
Да, you're strong enough, you're strong enough
Don't be afraid (Don't be afraid)
Don't be afraid (Don't be afraid)
Don't be afraid (Don't be afraid)
Don't be afraid, don't be afraid

Might see another NQ for Russia here. If it were any other country I think that would be certain but Russia might be guaranteed just enough points in the semi to squeeze through. Belarus and Azerbaijan are both there afterall

Did I think Moldova and Serbia were a mess? Compared to this they are as organized as German traffic.

I will really need time to process all this. But I will start with a :3:.
Absolutely no way this wins in May.

Now, that's a choice . . .. . . . . . .
I like how messy it is. I have no problem with that. The chorus is also a bop, i love the instruments but hmm everything is a bit too disjointed????
This is definitely going through a revamp, like 100%.

My only issue is,
Why would you sing a song called "Every Russian woman needs to know, you're strong enough" in an INTERNATIONAL MUSIC CONTEST? The message just doesn't make sense in the Eurovision context. If I were her, I would change lyrics and make it more comprehensive like "every woman needs to know" or whatever lol.

It doesn't matter. Look at the number of 12s this entry is receiving in this forum.

With a proper revamp (do they have time for that?) and preferably full Russian lyrics, I can be into this... I'm happy that we would for a change get something more authentic and in Russian from Russia... at least a step in the right direction

Well, it makes as much sense as "the balkan girls like to party"... xshrug

Well, it was the "best" option on offer tonight, so good for them.

I'm glad that it's not 100% in English for once, and I cannot criticise Russians for playing it safe this time, because it is definitely OUT THERE

With that being said, I cannot even rank that song for the time being. It's so bizarre and all over the place that it confuses me. Maybe I could get into it over time, maybe not. To me, it sounds like a skit performed to music.

I wonder how it's going to fare in Rotterdam. I miss Little Big already.

The song and stage looks very messy, needs a lot of arrangements but I appreciate the idea.
Winning the NF with a song about women in International Women's Day? Nice.

I think Russkaya Zhenschina is quite entertaining. I honestly don't know what to give it points wise but I like how it is something that's different. Unsure its brand of quirky is exactly my kind of thing but it did manage to get a giggle from me, that and the whole randomness of Russia's three song last minute selection, swapping the act with the music video that owns the most views of all time on the Eurovision channel for... well, this. I have to respect the ludicrousy of it all. I'm just unsure it's the right kind.

Anyway, have saaaay... :6: points from me. That'll do for now. It always makes me smile to see @Mainshow happy, and I've noticed it's pleased a nice chunk of the rest of you too, so yaay. That's good.

This is brilliant! I want to thank you Russia for serving us this!
It is perfectly staged already, perfromed excelent, really interesting and unique, vocals are great, QUALITY is really huge here..
There are many elements I admire here..
Ori Avni and Ori Kaplan from Israel, really good musicians and Manizha herself are the team behind the entry..

She dedicated this victory to her granny in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, but I didn't understand if she is alive or not..

The only thing I'm f***ing, is stupid
Congrats Manizha! Even if this song is very messy, I do like its wackiness. I think a lot of people will have a hard time connecting with the song if they not get the satirical edge of this, so far it works for me. They have to work with their stage presentation though, but it's due to the staging being put together at the last minute...

I'm looking forward to what the delegation will do with this entry which is very risky and might doing well if they don't mess up with the show. :8: points

By the way, we have many polarizing entries now! A lot of songs with :12:'s and :0:'s in their respective threads, these tend either do wonders in the televotes or flop. It's hard to predict the outcome this year.
