We Will Be Free (Lonely Symphony) 5/10 - the song would sound better to me with different arrangements, and it sounds dated in a bad way overall to me.

1. The Fire In Your Eyes 10/10 (My favourite Israeli entry ever and perhaps my fav ESC ballad from this century, the melody is breathtaking and mesmerising). I remember being blown away watching the semifinal performance live with Israel for the first time as a kid. His vocals are so original, such a pity that Bo'az hase given up on his musical career soon after that.
2. Deli 9/10 - I miss Turkey at the Eurovision so much, nearly always they would send sth really good.

2004 Cool but it has dated really badly. The performance was much better the song itself but I was happy that Ukraine won that year still. 6/10
2004 4/10 It is a nice banger, but no progression whatsoever drags it down and literally makes it drag (the same instrumental from start to finish); my other issue is her voice which is quite flat. Quite forgettable too, one of those 100 entries from that time that hardly differ from each other. I hated that era at the ESC. 2004-2007 were mostly dreadful for me, full of tacky trash that seemed trash to me even though I was a kid when watching those contests.
B&H 2004 2/10 Terrible . His vocals are so bad in the verses and the whole thing is so ultra gay, lmao. It is as gay as 2009, rotfl.


That woman from Belgium sounded like Mariah Carey compared to him. This is karaoke level.

Truly phenomenal! The entire package is emotionally shivering throughout the core. The eastern instrumentation and the contemporary sounds are perfectly balanced. Onr of the best eastern block entries ever!

2. Pionner 7/10
This one perfectly fine and balanced melody-wise. Just that the song felt somehow anonymous and underplayed, like something you are playing in the background. I sadly agree that “Pionner” was way to underrated in the grand final.

3. Heartbeat 7/10
A really good song for the brass and rhythm, great for headphone users. It didn’t live up to the legendary “Love Injected” though, but the song is fine for what it was.

Feels dispensable and basic. I give a very generous 4/10 for being fairly competent.
7/10 - very entertaining
9/10 Gorgeous melody. Still the best Georgian entry up to date, and wasn't it their debut btw.?

Overall 5/10 because of that cheesy song from the Netherlands.
