Blas is a star in Spain and I knew him long before Eurovision 2021. He had several number 1 albums with his boyband, but then also as a soloist. Best Spanish act in 2013.
You misunderstood what I was meaning.
I wasn't against a single artist but about the system. OK Blas is famous but what about Manuel Navarro, the young couple, ect.

The three big fat 0 deserved this year were UK. Germany and Spain.
I was rooting for Germany before the rehearsals but then totally felt down.
I don't mean these artists didn't deserved to be appreciated with points.
The countries deserved the 0 not the artists.
All these countries have the economical means and music heritage to organize decent national selections instead of choosing randomly the first who passes by. Does these singers have a career outside ESC?

Is that a necessity? Lena was a pupil before the ESC, Michael Schulte in 2018 was pretty much an indie artist prior to the ESC, his songs were copyright-free on YouTube and everyone could use them  Meanwhile established acts like Cascada in 2013 or Alex C. in 2009...

We also had acts like Unheilig who have a large fanbase performing at earlier national finals and they couldn't gather enough votes. I don't think anybody of the bigger names in Germany and the UK want to risk their national careers for one night of international recognition when it can backfire so heavily and even ruin their success back in their home countries.

:uk: 2021 without a doubt, it deserved much better than the historical double 0, and :uk: 2003 was actually a pretty decent catchy track for its time and how ESC looked like back then (but we can all agree that the performance was a trainwreck).

The rest of the bunch are ranging from crap to meh and deserved 0pts imo

I wonder which 2021 top will be a 2022 bottom? I doubt Italy will go down all the way to the other end of the scoreboard with their Sanremo festival as power source. Maybe France, Switzerland.

Black Smoke by Germany in 2015. You don't have it as an option.. but for me, the best zero pointer.
