Mind says:
They have not won for long time (6 years), all these years their songs were at least decent, they send quality songs (ok maybe "Stay" isn't that quality) and they are in a powerful block.
To my mind they are since last year as a Eurovision country the clear fave to win

2nd option: :ru:
If the situation wasn't as it is I would consider them the hot fave to win. Apart from the grannies (who weren't bad at all) they always send amazing singers even if the song isn't really good. It was shown clearly this year that people think of the song and not of the country, so yes they have many chances to win. But imo they should just leave these peace ballads cause 3 years in a row are enough

Heart says: :it:
Well obviously being my fave this year I want them to win next year but I also it is probably and their time. There isn't an entry from them since they came back that I dislike and most of the Europe seems to think that too. However they could turn out just another :nl: (see an similar thread about 2015 and Netherlands result and you will understand). But that doesn't mean they can't make it with a great song.

I voted for Albania, simply because I feel like it will be some sort of absurd country that nobody expects to win, and also one that hasn't won before.

So, IMO, I think it'll be Albania, Portugal, Romania, Lithuania, Slovenia, Malta or Iceland.

Excuse me ?
Why that ?
We've been to Eastern Europe in 2012.
Europe is not only Easterns & Norths x0s

But Scandinavia has won 3 times in the latest 5 years , so its time for a Mediterranean country or Eastern European as well.

Well you'd better put is as this:
2006: Scandinavia
2007: Balkan
2008: East-Europe
2009: Scandinavia
2010: West-Europe
2011: East-Europe
2012: Scandinavia
2013: Scandinavia
2014: West-Europe

That gives 4 Scandinavian wins, 2 West-European ones, 2 East-European ones and a Balkan win.
If you divide the 4/5 (=Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Finland) you get a ratio of 0,8.
2/10 (= Ireland, UK, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria) gives 0,2
0/5 for Central Europe (= Czechia, Slowakia, Slovenia, Poland & Hungary) gives 0
2/10 (= Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus) gives 0,2
1/10 (= Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia) gives 0,1

So actually Central Europe or the Balkans should get a win :p

Where is Malta,Cyprus and Israel ?

Small irrelevant countries don't matter to me ;;
Haha no I'm kidding, this thing was made fast, and without a map next to me ;)
So don't blame me it's still pretty accurate.
