This is my last post on this topic as I am being heavily and collectively manipulated at the moment.

I literally couldn’t care less about having banners or not in contests. Normally, I vote through banners in an edition. If there are no banners (or if they are yet to be posted), I go vote through the text show. This is just my preference and it is off-topic. We’re not here to discuss how much I value banners, nor I am here to entertain you by feeding you dramas.

MY POINT IS, IMHO, you must either post banners all at once or choose going banner-free. No in-between situation like revealing them irregularly (based on voting time) should be allowed. It is unfair. 11,435 other members of ESCUnited including mods, super mods, and even admins are welcome to think there is no problem with it - I don’t care anymore. You are posting some banners earlier than some others = you are not treating each participant equally. That’s it. Banners can’t be voting confirmation indicators. Maybe you can apply what chontono did in OM 31 - post all banners at once and then use them again as indicators. In short, if you post one banner earlier than another = BYE, you are an unfair host.

I am not remaining silent against this injustice. That’s all.

Actually, I thought it was a nice idea to post the banners separately after receiving the votes from that user - but I also believe that the banners shouldn´t be added in the opening post because these may indeed "highlight" (and therefore, influence some voters) some entries.

Since my username has already been mentioned, I´m sorry for being a day late regarding submitting my entry but I´m happy that OM accepted it since no songs had been released and the LL session hadn´t taken place at that time. I double checked my entry (and back-up entry). Unfortunately, Covid-19 had fucked me up and I´m seeing several doctors at the moment and it´s not really an "easy time" for me right now - and actually, that banners-release-idea made me mark it on my calendar and I somehow got motivated to vote earlier (I guess that was the idea behind it) - OM should be fun and I would hate to see a user/player leave just because of a innovative and harmless idea.
