Hey so, let's try this again since last attempt wasn't successful
A quick summary: the current NSC mod team decided to leave (+ anselm completely left NSC), @Stargazer joined a while ago as both Super Mod and NSC Mod. Also, even thought Sean and renzo will not be in NSC Mod Team, they will be involved in some way. Renzo will be there to help with some stuff from time to time and Sean will have some kind of observer/helper role, so he will be able to give an advice if it will be necessary. They won't be actively involved with work of NSC Mod Team, but they will have access, so that they can help when they will have time.
I am also looking for the new NSC Mods, so please read the rest of this post carefully.
What is NSC Mod? How active I have to be?
Responsibilites? Which responsibilities are available?
I don't wanna be NSC Mod, but I wanna contribute in some way, is that possible?
Yes! We are currently looking for number of volunteers to help with updating of NSC Database and maybe Wikia if it will be necessary/useful (but not obligatory). So, if you want to help with updating of NSC Database, feel free to check the PMing part below.
This is your chance to become more active in NSC and on this forum overall and help us keep things smooth and fun for everyone on here. If you think you have what we require, then apply now. We just have requirements:
- Communication skills (be nice, friendly, outgoing and treat every NSC member with respect)
- Good understanding of Board and NSC Rules
- The NSC Moderator must be the member of NSC (this means that only full roster NSC members can apply)
If you are meeting the mentioned requirements, please send me a PM with the answers to the following questions:
If you don't want to be a NSC mod, but you wanna help (with updating of NSC Database for now), please make sure to meet the following requirements and answer the following questions:
- Understanding of NSC and its structure
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and entering data
- Must be in NSC in some way (as either member or on waiting list)
Additionally, if any of the volunteers will be interested in being the NSC Mod, there is a possibility for that if they will be active enough.
If you want me to consider your application, please make sure to meet these requirements:
Number of filled positions for volunteers and NSC Mods will depend on the qualify of applications, but I am not planning to help more than 3-5 NSC Mods (including Stargazer). Regarding volunteers, I am not planning to have more than 1-4.
I won't put the deadline for applying right now (I will announce it at least a few days in advance), but it won't be longer than 31st October, 2018.

What is NSC Mod? How active I have to be?
NSC Mod is the role which consists of moderating NSC, keeping everything up-to-date and keeping things under control. Generally, it is expected that NSC Mod will have to be available less than FSC/WV Mods, so I will not expect for NSC Mods to be available 24 hours a day or something like that, I'll be happy as long as you're not inactive. Each NSC Mod has responsibilities which are designed specifically for NSC.
Responsibilites? Which responsibilities are available?
We have 2 sets of responsibilities: basic responsibilities and one additional responsibility.
As I said already, NSC Mod job is expected to be less time-consuming than FSC/WV Mods. Each NSC Mod will have a general set of functionalities and some of those are:
- Keeping an eye on NSC section and ensuring that everything is going smoothly.
- Being available if anyone in NSC section has a question.
- Availability for any suggestions, concerns and complaints regarding NSC.
- Helping if someone from NSC (e.g. a host) has a question or is not sure about something.
- Keeping an eye on sticked threads (e.g. current edition/spinoff have to be sticked while it is active).
- NSC Mods do not have to moderate the NSC section (me and Stargazer will handle that), but they can warn us on potential breaking of the rules in some of the threads.
As you can see, general roles do not require a lot of work, so checking of NSC section and maybe more important threads for any new posts should be enough.
Each NSC Mod will have an additional responsibility. Each NSC Mod will have exactly one additional responsibility out of those:
1. Roster: This Mod will be in charge of keeping an eye on WLSC forum and answering to any necessary questions Waiting List members will maybe have. In addition to WLSC forum, this Mod will also be in charge of Waiting List, and NSC Roster thread (all 3 things will be updated every edition and especially WL whenever someone new joins). Whenever a nation currently on WL debuts, its thread should be moved from WL section to main NSC section. I am here expecting that 95% of work will be connected to updating of WL. -> Stargazer will handle this
2. Rules: This Mod will oversee the rule process which includes coordinating the setup of some additional ground rules that are currently missing, handle rules discussions & polls and update rules accordingly. In addition to overseeing the rules, this Mod would also be in charge of keeping an eye on the NSC Section and reacting whenever it is necessary (whenever there are issues or breaking of NSC rules, this does not include sending of already used NSC entries).
3. Data/Spinoffs: This Mod will be in charge of updating the NSC Database after every edition with the participants from the latest edition and results. Also, if necessary, Wikia can/should be updated as well. Additionally, this Mod will be in charge of Spinoffs and everything related to it and is expected to update the thread and poll whenever it is necessary to choose the next Spinoff.
4. Communications: This Mod will be responsible for more important communication regarding NSC. Whenever it is necessary, there should be a reply from at least one member from NSC Mod Team and this NSC Mod should be a communication link between NSC community and NSC Mods. Also, if one of the NSC Mods from the other parts is not available, this Mod should step in at least temporarily until the Mod responsible for that part is back.
(those responsibilities are subject to change and they are currently approximately defined)

If you want me to consider your application, please make sure to meet these requirements:
- Send your application in English
- Answer all the required questions
- Do NOT use hard to see colors like this one because this is annoying and it is hard to read it because it burns your eyes
