NSC 228 - Confirmations

The NSC mod team would like to welcome you for NSC 228!

Confirmations will be held in neutral territory, aboard the ISS Zaprya, the historic first module of the International Space Station. Discussions are underway regarding the organisation of the rest of the edition, but you should expect to be spending the semifinals under the stewardship of Stargazer.

Why don't you just host under a shared NSC Mod account and not associate the hosting with your own nations? (i.e. NSC Host account hosting to restore the peace, taking place in United Natia, or something like that).

I don't find Rahasia-Diati, Halito and Trollheimr to be neutral grounds to be honest. In addition, your nations did not qualify to host the edition. If we want to promote peace and harmony, and if a user's right to host the contest is being taken away (who had rightfully earned it), it should at least be done in a more affirmative way, without benefiting anyone in particular.

In addition, a nameless hosting in United Natia would highlight the events that have happened and remind us that coming together, at the end of the day, is the only way to go. Rather than awarding our own nations with an opportunity.

At the moment we have no joint NSC mod account, but you are correct that it would be better and even more neutral. As far as I know, this isn't benefitting either of us. We're not getting PQs, at least I don't think so.

There's no need to associate our nations with this edition, so I've removed them from the first post. The confirmations were already taking place on the ISS Zaprya, so we may as well make the whole thing take place in neutral territory. The settings of the semifinals and finals are still undecided, but there are many possibilities for neutral zones. For example, it could take place in Zoidiac's former residence, more commonly known now as No Name's Land.

Like Anna said, we aren't getting PQs from this, so no-one is benefitting.

I also encourage WL nations to submit reserve entries if you haven't already. I'm not sure exactly how many new nations will be debuting this edition, but there have definitely been some changes to the roster so it's worth trying.

The LL will be held by @Veronika on Wednesday evening to avoid clashes with ESC, and @Stargazer will post the semifinal shows shortly thereafter, taking over the hosting of this edition.
