If Sofie's voice was really, really strong I think she would have a chance of winning the MGP. But her performance wasn't perfect-perfect, so I still regard the wolves as favourites.

The hosts emphasized that they did sing everything live, but I guess it was a bit hard to hear what was their sound and what came from the playback.

I just watched the performances for "Hasta la vista", "La melodia" and "Give that Wolf a Banana" (which in my opinion are the only good songs in this heat).

• "Hasta la vista": It sort of fell flat 'live'. It lacked the energy and fun the song is supposed to bring. I know Alexandra wants to focus on her vocals, but she seems kinda stiff throughout the song. I like the staging, it is pretty dynamic. But too bad Alexandra didn't bring her A-game.
  
  
• "La melodia": God, Kim got such a great voice. One of the best voices I have heard in the NF season across all countries. But why did they have to do that staging for the song. Such a rip-off and injustice. They could have done something different. And he is pretty easy on the eyes, not going to lie. Hopefully he will try again in the future.
  
  
• "Give that Wolf a Banana": They are definitely ready. Not easy to wear a full-on mask, dance a routine and still sing 'live'. They can literally just transfer the staging to the ESC stage. This needs to win.

Thankfully this Heat saved the MGP final for me...hope AC will save it even more, but now I'm calm, I have smth to suport in the final whatever happens.. It would be too sad for me to dislike everything in my dearest Norway!

"Made of Glass" was nice, I would have preferred "Fly" but they were both good. This semi wasn't very exciting overall, I expected better performances.
"Give That Wolf A Banana" isn't a song that I really like, it's not bad it just doesn't click with me. The performance could have been more exciting, it got boring after a while and became more interesting towards the end again. The have a clear advantage of being the only song of that kind in the final (for now at least, though I don't expect them to pick something very uptempo from SC) and it seems to be popular, so for now I think they have the highest chances to win the contest.
From SC I would like to see "Fly" in the final or if the performance improves "Hasta La Vista". If she can somehow improve vocally I also wouldn't mind Eline Noelia.

After we've seen 20/21 of the contestants and almost all the finalists are chosen I think there will be no surprise to see the wolves go to Tornino.
I think Death of Us will come closest. I am expecting Elsie Bay to improve for the final though, her performance was lacking something.
But I am also expecting the wolves to take it another step in the final.
The last place in the final? My guess would be Maria Mohn. And that would make the final out strongest in many years - judging from my personal taste.

To be honest "Give that Wolf a Banana" is like a rip-off of Ylvis's "The Fox", it's still a very cleverly done song. But the lack of bananas in the staging is offensive, I hope they bring in tonnes of them in the finals. I really like the yellow + grey colour palette in the performance. Very sleek!

Ok, I’m totally on board with Subwoolfer. The performance is actually very slick with great choreography.
This is novelty done right
