I just realized why you thought that. Because it's a song from Norway, released in a year that ends with 1, that starts with a dark skinned female singer describing what was told to her by a close member of her family.

Heat 3 is probably the best so far, Witch Woods is just crazy, love it. "Vi er Norge" is my type of folksy bop. Own Yourself and Smile are nice too. Finally a heat worth watching!

So far Keiino and Jorn for me. Raylee is plastic and very generic like already pointed out here. Blåsemafiaen just got votes from all the thousands of marching band musicians and army folks they cynically lobbied.

A bit miffed how the pre-selection jury said they wanted stage experience, artist and song diversity + good quality song, and then they don't take Jorn who ticks all the boxes with a large tick.

I've heard from some people that pre-qualified finalist for this week Kaja Rode's ballad is excellent and maybe better than Attention last year. If that's actually the case she might even be in with a shot to win the whole selection this year but only time will tell.

I also think it will be super good, the fact that she isn't famous or participated in MGP before, but still in the final says a lot. It will probably challenge for the win!
