Well didn't they try to do all the voting online? remove phone voting totally and tried to use a more modern technique. I recall them saying the voting would be online, which imo screams sever overload. I don't think it was rigging tbh, It's not something i'd expect from Norway. If it was Ukraine or Belarus, then maybe so.

Yeah, they did 100% online voting and anyone could vote, wether we were in Norway or not. The sistem worked fine during the semi-finals, but it collapsed during the final. And it was visible during the show that this happened, because when voting we could send an emoji that would appear in the screen at the end of the performances, and that stopped appearing midway through the show.
Of course some people will immediately put their tinfoil hats on and say NRK was rigging the results, but to anyone sensible it's 100% obvious a broadcaster like NRK would never dare do something like that.

these rumoured names are crickets...

what bothers me in the Norwegian selection is that there's not actual artists, they are all singers who are given a song, but rarely do they release a song outside of a eurovision context... there's never an artist in mgp who I actually listen to beforehand. Hope that there are a bit more established names later..., like not even famous, but I just want some artistry (Skaar would be great)

First song leaked! It's rather good and I like that's it's coming from an up-and-coming artist (search it up on twitter - Stina Talling - Elevate). Wouldn't mind it winning tbh, it's probably one of the pre-qualified artists, don't know tho
