V Bozeman

V Bozeman (born Veronika Bozeman) is an American singer and actress from Los Angeles, California. Bozeman is most known for her recurring role as Veronica in the Fox musical drama series 'Empire', on the pilot for which she performed the song 'What Is Love'. Her performance of the song has since amassed more than 20 million views on YouTube. She is due to release her debut studio album this year. Having been born in Barbados, and living in California, how is she eligible for North West England you may ask? Well you'll find out in due course!

MATRIX & FUTUREBOUND FT. V BOZEMAN - HAPPY ALONE

My first entry for North West England is Happy Alone by London-based producer Matrix, and Liverpudlian Futurebound, featuring V Bozeman as mentioned before hand. I fell in love with this song after a friend of mine played it at a pre-drinking session and have been listening to it non-stop ever since. I just love the drum and bass vibe along with Bozeman's huge, soulful vocals. The whole song just feels so big and motivational, a real anthem! I hope my fellow WV-ers feel the same way.

DID NOT QUALIFY

Re: NORTH WEST ENGLAND | WV60 - Matrix & Futurebound ft. V Bozeman - Happy Alone

I actually struggle to believe that I've had to write 'Did not qualify' there. This song SHOULD be in the final and it SHOULD finish near the top. I'm actually at a supreme loss to why on earth this has failed xshrug

I can't believe I'm having to make my plans for next edition already, but I'll be posting artist info shortly.

MISHA B

Misha B is an R&B singer from Manchester who first gained attention after appearing on the same series of The X Factor as previous WorldVision winner Amelia Lily. After coming in fourth place, she was quickly signed and released three singles: Home Run, Do You Think Of Me and Here We Go (Ooh La La). An album was scheduled for release but was sadly never released. Stay tuned to find out which of Misha's three hit songs will be representing North West England at edition 61!

MISHA B - DO YOU THINK OF ME

Misha's song for WorldVision 61 is Do You Think Of Me, an upbeat ballad with EDM touches and lyrics talk about missing a special loved one. Misha has said she has "an emotional connection to the song – it has a very special meaning for me, which I hope comes across in the lyrics and the vocals", which is presumed to be about her father who she sadly never met. I'm not too sure about my chances with this, but I'm really starting to love Misha B as an artist, and this is my favourite song of hers, so I'm happy to be able to send it :)

Another DNQ :( I'm desparate to get a qualification for NWEN so I'm gonna try switching it up somewhat for next edition.

Thank you to all who did vote for Misha xlove

Re: NORTH WEST ENGLAND | WV62 | 80s

Ooo i'm intrigued. I was thinking you'd perhaps be going for a certain three piece (that would thrill me a ridiculous amount, depending on the lineup) but this 80s clue leaves them out of the question. Just who could it be.... xthink
