This demo is pretty bad i must say :? It would've been nice if it is ESC 1985, but not in 2010 in any way.....well hopefully it will be improved (and i really mean IMPROVED) in some of the 6 versions, or it will be another epic fail for Netherlands i'm afraid

That "Smurf song" is way better than this i must say.

EDIT: But i like the fact that it's ifinally an entry in Dutch

Please withdraw before this nightmare comes to Oslo :?

It can't even be saved by changing it to a pop, rock or even hip hop song, it will still sound like a big joke to me

Could be the worst Dutch entry in ages...and I thought The Toppers was the worst...

Yeah, the first impression is rather....ugh......

but let's be a little more patient. Maybe it will not as bad as we think it's going to be, there is hope but I am not holding my breath.

I have to admit that i actually liked the original version of "Shine". It wasn't anything special, but it was nice.........until they ruined the whole thing with that techno remix, which they used on the night as well........

I can't see a huge improvement for this song, but we will see. Although this still indicates that chances of Netherlands being in the final are pretty low, sadly.

Expected more. Still, it's better than "Shine"... It reminds me of Netherlands 1986 - Alles Heeft Een Ritme by Frizzle Sizzle. The other one is WAAAAY better, though. Maybe it was written by the same composer?

Expected more. Still, it's better than "Shine"... It reminds me of Netherlands 1986 - Alles Heeft Een Ritme by Frizzle Sizzle. The other one is WAAAAY better, though. Maybe it was written by the same composer?

He wrote "De oude muzikant", the 1973 Dutch entry as well. And this reminds me of it as well

But you are right, it does remind on that song as well

Amsterdam, the Netherlands - Ik Ben Verliefd, Shalalie (I Am In Love, Shalalie) is the title of the Dutch entryfor the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. It is the first song known for the upcoming contest in Oslo, Norway. Earlier, it was announced that Pierre Kartner was asked to write the song, which will for sure be performed in Dutch.

Today's version is a demo version of the actual production of the song, which will be chosen in February. For the occasion, song writer Pierre Kartner will perform the song live.

Kartner will not perform the song himself at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Six new talents will compete for the Dutch ticket to Oslo in the Nationaal Songfestival, guided by famous national artists. Each artist has the freedom to re-produce the song in the way they desire. The Dutch national selection will take place on 31 January and 7 February and will be hosted by Yolanthe Cabau-van Kasbergen.

The song is not that bad....only little boring and old-fashioned... :| Hope the 6 versions will be way better...

P.S. I liked "Shine" more than this one...

I was planning on myself writing the same thing, The difference is that I reallky like, almost love, "De Oude muzikant" as well as "Alles Heeft Een Ritme".

This is a typical Dutch Schlager (which does well in The Netherlands, Flanders and parts of Germany)... but this is NOT gonna reach any final on Eurovision grounds... nevertheless, nice try Holland.

Also I thing that the final version of song would be better and a bit modern
