Sugar is in my top 10 this year. But after seeing and hearing her performance my prediction was a NQ (I though Austria was in instead). Not so much because of the staging - but because of the VERY shaky vocals. Maybe she did much better in the jury show? It's true it's not a song for showing off your vocals, and you dont need to hit all the notes in a song like this. But ...really? This was NOT good Natalia.
Anyway I am happy to see this in the final. But if it hadn't qualified I wouldnt be mad.

I think I am realising Natalia might just be my icon of the year.

When you think about it, she kept serving memes throughout the season: from the music video where she eats a jaw and gets liquid caramel on her face, to the dancing section used by people on youtube for other songs, to her botched lip-sync performances in Russia, and now this.

I cannot keep up with this level of artistry. In before the next forum meltdown when she ranks top ten above Cyprus, Iceland or other hot favourites on Saturday Why stop there?

I do not mind the song but the performance was an absolute nonevent. Not that she is really bad when it comes to vocals, she does not seem to have any clue about what she is doing there, to me she just looks uncomfortable. Moldova was the only qualifier of this semi I did not predict to go to the final and I think that a more vivid act deserved to go through instead of this whatever on stage.

Damn I wish the the staging just wasn't so generic? There is not really any theme to it, while the song has a clear theme. Missed opportunity to not do something crazy with candy

I love this song but man that performance is dreadful. The fact that this qualified over Denmark, Austria and Czech Republic is an absolute injustice.

For me, this is one of the most undeserved qualifiers this year. The first verse was ear-torture, the staging boring, the whole performance soulless. You could have put up a robot instead - wouldn't have made a lot of a difference.

I have to agree and I actually like the song
