Couldn't find a thread for this year. Posting this because like 10 days after the final I'm a little surprised to learn that Jamala sings:
"We could build a future"
while I thought all along that it was "Welcome to the future".
Also by the tone she uses in lines like "Humanity cries/Humanity rise" I thought she could be using soft swears or words of discontent instead.
Don't want to pick on Jamala at all but is it just me who thinks she could use some help with diction?
(and speaking of that, how terrible were those journalists in the post-semis press conferences? Were they all plain amateurs? Sort of felt embarassed for them. They made the Australian guy seem like a God by comparison
)
Feel free to type away actual misheard lyrics or funny elaborated ones.
Like, when Jamala says "Humanity cries" she does it in such a fast way, like the words were glued together that I couldn't help but think to myself whether she was dissing either a crutch or Peter Crouch himself![Rofl xrofl xrofl](/forum/images/Additional/rofl.gif)
