With so much study that shows how ineffective masks are and could be harmful to one's health, I am considering to use face shield only. Not only wearing masks makes you feel uncomfortable, but it could also lead to bacteria build-up in the mask itself and to the wearer's lungs due to re-inhaling the exhaled carbon dioxide. Do you believe that a mask is really helpful in preventing contraction with the virus?

Face shield is a joke. I wouldn't recommend them. Anyone wearing that piece of plastic inhales and exhales all particles anyway

@foldpaw could you cite any of the studies that show that masks are ineffectful and do
harm to the health? never heard of any reliable source that would support that.

I would recommend wearing both a face mask and a face shield. The virus can enter your body topically through your eyes. So please protect your eyes as much as you protect your nose and mouth. Also, make sure your hands are clean when you touch your face or any orifice of your body.
