Malta MALTA 2022 - Emma Muscat - I Am What I Am

I have a few more comments on this selection 
-Emma Muscat reminds me of Christabelle - Jessika's biggest rival of MESC for me.. They've been like Verstappen & Hamilton in F1. Funny that i have top 2 like that again...
-There are few bops you'd expect me to list as my faves, but since i didn't, let me explain: Take Aphrodisiac from the impostor Jessica, and give it to the real Jessika, and i'm guaranteed to love it. I'm looking for a full package.
-I was hyped for Matt Blxck after hearing the snippets, but the full song feels quite repetitive
Maltese selection is what it is, but honestly, i've missed it. I think Malta should do a NF every other year.

Sorry but what a bad NF. Almost everything sounds cheap, basic, a lot of songs almost sound as copies of another famous ones, bad productions... Except for Out Of Sight kinda.
I wanted to see Emma with one of her summer bops in Italian. I like Out Of Sight, but it's still nothing special tho, she could have used her Italian a bit in the song.
I'm expecting her to win MESC either way, I don't know if she's famous in Malta as she is in Italy tho?

I don't think they are connected. I didn't even know Jessica's surname is Muscat lolAre Emma and Jessika related in some way? Because I have both Muscats in my top 2!
I'm obviously a bigger Jessika stan than you then.

Aphrodisiac sounds like a trashy plagiarism of another song called Aphrodisiac to me. xD The one which represented Greece years ago. They did not even bothered to make the title original, LOL.Sorry but what a bad NF. You don't know Morocco's famous lists? He is indeed a very kind person and has a wide range of music that he loves (especially ballads). He hardly gives bad notes and I love him for that. 
Well it's not detailed at all but I really enjoyed this NF, the song were great imo and like Mauve said I like almost everything
Also I might have different quotas that people, I give 8 for a song that is just good but nothing more, sooo xD

Emma and Richard have the strongest songs. Emma needs to win this though.

For me it's either Matt Blxck with Come Around or Aidan Cassar with Ritmu. Both of these are just good -nothing really amazing, but I would be fine with seeing either of these win. The rest is either unlistenable or mediocre at best. I generally really like ballads, but please... almost every ballad here sounds literally the same and none of them has anything unique to it. Overall, the Maltese contest just has to be the worst NF so far and I don't really think any of these songs would make a top 15 in Turin.

Most of them have been written and composed by the same people.
Seriously, I have never seen such a boring national final in my life in terms of composers/songwriters than this mess of a national final.
