As of 2017, Malaysian singing competition shows started using Eurovision-like staging and montage 
(refer minute 0:20 of this video)
P/s: I might have a share in this, as I continuously commented on other local forums to improve the quality of Malaysian TV shows and gave Eurovision as an example (which most Malaysians do not even know about it)

Titled Raja or "King" .. such a rich and sultry mid tempo dance song. Not her typical upbeat dance song
