It was good. I wasn't happy with the other qualifiers, but whatever. I am happy that Vlatko tried and promoted the entry and was active in Germany.

Next year I hope for a woman (yes, I think women can do it) to represent Macedonia, with a BALLAD or ethno-pop. Rock was enough - NO MORE. I really hope that we won't see people like Belov, Next Time, Riste, or whoever else. Bojan, you should really give me some of those emails from the people in charge for ESC. I think it is time to write them a nice letter! Macedonia has one of the best folklore music in the world, and it is a shame to see them sinking on this musical event!

I think its finally time for Kaliopi!
That lady is a goddess, good song + her amazing voice = Macedonia rocks!

Kaliopi is seriously amazing. Her song "Silna" from the Macedonian NF a few years ago is brilliant. And her voice. Truly unique.

A pretty decent performance but the song is just way too chaotic and hysterical, so... That English verse didn't really help, either. I think this reminds me a bit of Miro's attempt last year. xrofl3

The song isn´t good imo. But what I liked was the postcard before the song started. It was from Leipzig, my hometown - I was very surprised. :D

As per tradition, I will try and guess how Macedonia will vote (last 2 years I guessed most of the votes correctly, especially the 12s)

Let's see this:
12 - Bosnia and Herzegovina
10 - Serbia
8 - United Kingdom - usually 8 is the winner
7 - Slovenia
6 - Azerbaijan
5 - France
4 - Sweden
3 - Italy
2 - Ukraine
1 - Russia/Iceland

The performance was good and Vlatko did all he could. The song however, simply wasn't enough, very average.

Well, I loved it. Everything else was bland and boring next to it, what is the point of this contest anymore when every country sings in English and all songs are pop, I want to see their culture reflected in every aspect of their entry ( song, choreography, costumes etc.). Macedonia had it this year, they retained some ethnic elements in their performance - costumes, music, choreography (that REALLY impressed me). It was all very sleek and modern, yet ethnic too, great combination.

Maybe not their best song, it is catchy, although not a masterpiece. But for overall performance, this was their best. I mean, compare this flawless performance to Make My Day (good song, but my gosh the performance . . . .xrofl3)

(I may be biased though)

We still have Belarus and others! :)

Anyway, here is how I think Macedonia will vote in this second semi-final:
12 - Bosnia and Herzegovina
10 - Bulgaria
8 - Belarus
7 - Slovenia
6 - Sweden
5 - Israel (edited here, before the show starts )
4 - Ukraine
3 - Denmark
2 - Romania
1 - Latvia/Slovakia

Yeah, I think Israel will get some points, because she is known in Macedonia.
So the Macedonian votes in the semi were:
12 - Bosnia
10 - Slovenia
8 - Belarus
7 - Israel
6 - Ukraine
5 - Moldova (I wrote this initially )
4 - Romania
3 - Slovakia
2 - Sweden
1 - Bulgaria
I guessed 9/10 (not counting Moldova ) and 2 of them were exact!

The votes for the final:
12 - Bosnia
10 - Slovenia
8 - Serbia
7 - Ukraine
6 - Sweden
5 - UK
4 - Spain
3 - Greece
2 - Austria
1 - Italy
I got 7/10 and correctly placing 1

I loved the performance of this song. The dancers were just amazing and gave the song a great fun feel. Their kicks and jumps are *whoooo* amazing. Too bad, the song itself isn't a masterpiece.

It was a good presentation, I liked it, but the song was just very bad, and it just couldn't mask that fact. So I am not surprised it failed. This was perhaps your weakest entry since XXL. I am holding my fingers for Kaliopi next year (or maybe Karolina for the 3rd time :D Why not :p).
