Crumbs, normally get round to this sooner!! Thanks to everyone who helped Jess along to 14th place in the final (first time in the teens; wooo!) and, ofc, to [MENTION=8534]theCONWEL[/MENTION] for not only giving me the song to send, but also taking over my duties of thanking during the final! He did such a good job impersonating me that even [MENTION=14007]lavieenrose[/MENTION] thought it was me at one point!

Looking ahead, well... I had decided on my entry. Now, err, I'm less sure! I have two songs which will be both coming at some point and it's a case of deciding which goes first! The two are quite different and I'd bet money (up to 50p!) on one doing a lot better than the other, but it's just what I feel like now. Yeah, I couldn't go long without an NF... Some of you have known about her for a bit: It's Vanessa Mae!

An iconic classical violinist with a modern twist; she's got a wonderful catalogue with both new compositions and her take on classical favourites. I didn't want to throw her in straight after ESCala, as the style is a little similar, so hope those who enjoyed her also enjoy Vanessa!

I've had a brief consultation with a #secretjuror to help me whittle down the 9 I originally liked to a more listenable 5, so without further ado...!

If you're bothered, I have a little more info on each below in the spoiler

Storm: Mae's take on Vivaldi's classic (the third movement of Summer from the Four Seasons). Quite a popular hit with classical crossover artists, but I'm sure you'll agree that her performance is spectacular!

Destiny: One of her self-penned pieces, a great piece with a lovely flow to it.

Toccata: Another classic! This time it's Bach's Toccata and Fugue getting the treatment and what a treatment! Full of vibrancy and life. Fans of my NFs (I think there's maybe two of you...) may remember another version of this in the Sky NF. This one is just as good.

Classical Gas: The only modern cover in the NF! Originally released in 1968 by Mason Williams, but Vanessa brings her flair to execute a fantastic cover.

Happy Valley: She composed this for the Hong Kong handover ceremony in 1997. A fabulous fusion of Western and Eastern styles building to an impressive climax.

You don't have to include a 1 if you don't want, you can vote like 12-10-8-7-6 or maybe 5-4-3-2-1 or 12-8-6-4-2. You can use five of the ten votes in ESC style without repeats
