Pretty surprised by the minor push for to participate.
However the only way I can see this happening is if one the major broadcasters(LBC or MTV) partners up with the nationall broadcaster (Tele-Liban) like (curently) (2010-2012) (JESC 2014) mostly because the major broadcasters lack the EBU membership while the national broadcaster lacks the money.
Why does a Lebanon thread get started year after year?
We remember when Lebanon tried to enter in 2005 but withdrew late. Lebanon hasn't tried to enter since. Is it really true that Lebanese TV cannot show Israel's entry, or other references to Israel during the ESC (e.g. the Israeli spokesperson announcing Israel's points)?
The Israeli broadcaster IBA may have shut down, but Israel will surely have a replacement broadcaster (KAN or whatever it's called) which, if it becomes an EBU member, will allow Israel to come back. Don't think that 2017 was Israel's last ever year of participation and that they're now gone for good.
