I'm starting to think Latvia is in, and Australia is out. I had a different opinion before rehearsals.

Like Latvia is top 5 in the semi, I'm sorry... Only Austria, Finland, Lithuania and Israel are more likely to qualify in my eyes.

Latvia is my favourite this year, but in terms of qualification I do think it's borderline. It worries me that the nf performance didn't once show the audience and I'm not sure how the televote will respond to that, there is also the artsy cultural non rave non party aspect of the song which such songs haven't done particularly well in recent editions. That and there are so many borderline songs in this semi and most of then have stepped up to the plate.

Yet another guilty pleasure of mine. Very underrated in the odds. It isn't the best Tautumeitas song, far from it, but it still stands out in the selection. The rehearsals look really good so I hope for a qualification on Thursday. They deserve it!

I've always been a big fan of this. It felt like the more accapella part near the end hit less hard though. Good performance as usual. A clever combination of folk with electronic beat and should be rewarded.

Absolutely love it! The song itself was great, but the staging is probably the best of this edition. I expect no less than a top 10 on Saturday, why not top 5 even!

My biggest surprise tonight. But it adds a nice flavor to the final, so I'm happy with it.
I think the staging secured their qualification to a great extent - that was a masterpiece!

Very happy Latvia went through.

I was a little concerned it might be too folk and different for Europe but I'm so happy for Latvia that they are in the final.

Now we know it is possible to have a Latvian folk song in their language into the final.
