Same here, I grew to like her so much in the last few weeks and I am very happy that Latvian broadcaster decided to send her in 2021. After watching some of her interviews, I realised she has fantastic sense of humour and seems so sweet and nice overall. However, I still think that Still Breathing is a bad song, so I do hope she will write something more cohesive and generally better so I can fully support her.

The entire point of liking "Still breathing" has very little to do with the song itself. I personally 100% like it due to the Samantaness.

+1, she was my grower of the different Home concerts (Eurovision Home Concert, PrePartyES, WiwiJam,...), her performances were a bit "over the top", but I loved them

Absolutely agree. I saw the Eurovision Home Concert - and she slayed there and had almost the best performance that night. For some reason I liked the song THAT night.

I get why they're bringing her back, but a part of me was secretly hoping they wouldn't only because I can't stand her entries. Latvia this year, tied with Armenia, were the worst songs in the entire competition for me.

Echoing to what @mauve @CPV4931 @randajad have said, I am sold by her attitude towards the competition. She is dedicated and puts in her 101% in her performances. So even though I really dislike her song, but I must give credit when due to and that is her skills as a performer. So I am glad she is back.

And it's great she's such a dedicated performer. But I'm not really here for the artists, I'm here for the songs, so if there are no good songs it won't matter how talented or skilled the artist is if it still makes my ears bleed.

Samanta needs to follow the route she is on: A bold and confident elektro pop banger. That's exactly why she needs to continue to work with Aminata.
