It seems Markus Riva will try one more time. Kirkorov promoted him at his own concert in Latvia right from the stage. "I want him to take part in ESC" blah blah blah.

I don't exclude a possibility of Tayanna's participation cuz they share the same producer with Riva.

I think Markus Riva needs at least a year out, or he's going to risk looking desperate. I'm sure there are other ways to self-promote your career

Since the beginning of 2017 I've been to three different european countries besides Sweden. Bulgaria (the same week they finished 2nd), Cyprus (who finished 2nd this year) and Latvia. So apparently we already have the silver medalist for 2019 and it's Latvia!! Probably with an Aminata-produced song.

In the current geopolitical situation, the chance that Latvia chooses someone suggested by Kirkorov is close to the absolute zero.

Tayanna is completely unknown in Latvia.

supernova remains a very strong NF and it pains me that the last two years didn't get the success they genuinely deserved. i hope they don't give up on what they are doing because of this.

LTV has revealed that a total of 83 songs have been submitted to compete in Supernova 2019, the Latvian selection process for Eurovision.

83 songs are in the running to represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel. The submissions window for Supernova 2019 closed last night, with the broadcaster receiving ten less submissions than last year.
