L'amore si muove which is actually a cover of Francesco Renga's Nel nome del padre (2004). Renga also wrote the new lyrics along with Luca Chiaravalli.

This is my favourite ESC song of all times. But I get depressed when I listen to it, because it reminds that it should have won and I just can't get over it that it didn't

:cry::cry:

Why couldnt they compete in a weaker year like 2013 or 2016 instead? :(
I so wish they would have won with this song (but not against Mans)..

12 points - should have won.. I used to be a huge defender of the juries but sometimes they really mess up.
There are individual jury members who saw this one last or #24, what the hell?! The jury members really need to rank entries PROFESSIONALLY by their compositio, arrangement and not based on personal factors and if they do like the genre...

Not a contemporary song, but it made a good impression in the viewers' minds and earned its spot. I read somewhere on twitter that the Italian HoD was really pissed on the plane back to Italy after the show, I wonder what he did say... maybe the fact that Italy refused to host JESC in 2015 - after winning the year before - played a part, who knows...

I need this for my funeral.

The women part makes my heart melt. This song got me balling during my car ride when ö1 played it.
