I think Israel usually won't reuse the outfits from the music videos for the actual competition. So likely we may see a brand new outfit for Eurovision. I actually like what he wore in the X Factor Final performance. But I think they will likely give him a more elaborated piece.

I am still not sure what I want for his staging. Torn between if they should go all campy since at this point they have nothing to lose, or just make it more slick and while still making the performance fun to watch.

Well that's disappointing. As one of the few people that liked it originally, the revamp has sent it backwards.

I was only really ever digging the drop/chorus beat and its production, the new chorus has more character but it lacks the punchiness that hooked me before.

But the quality sounds really poor though. Sounds like they have uploaded a 48kbs MP3 version.

I recalled the original version was sitting at over 600K plays.

I know many people complained about the drop being replaced with the flute. I personally didn't care that much (pretty indifferent to the original drop). I thought it's a pity they cut the original ending as I thought it's a good part to showcase Michael's vocals. But too bad they didn't change much to the ending in the revamp despite trimming it down as it's still an abrupt end.

I can't wait to see what they are going to do with the staging. I'm so over and done with the studio cut of the song. It's always going to be the "live" performance for me for Israel this year.

This went from an initial 3 to an 8 for me. I was just annoyed the first couple of times I listened to this. Now - not at all! The revamp was a huge step up for me.
