Baby
Sometimes love can bring you down
But, honey
Keep your head up
Keep your head up
Keep your head up
Remember who you are

You can call me crazy
Or just call my name
You can say that I'm stunning
It's not a shame
'Cause I know I am
I know I am, hah
'Cause I know I am
I know I am
I like this attitude
I like the game
You can say that I'm brave
I'm never the same
'Cause I know I am (I know I am)
I know I am (I know I am)
'Cause I know I am (I know I am)
Hah, I know I am

Baby, come with me, follow me
Tell me if we can take it to the floor
(Oh-ooh, oh-ooh, oh-ooh, oh-ooh)
I'm the fire, the power
And if you're asking
I was gonna take it all (All, all)

You know I am
You know I am
'Cause I na-na-na know I am, am
And no one brings me down
I'm gonna take the crown
Give it to me now

I'm shameless and I'm spotless and I'm flawless
Always take it up 'cause I'm a winner, I don't want less
Going for the things I should and maybe I'm ferocious
Making you the one I want and I'm not even topless (Be cautious)
It's going down for real
Twenty twenty-two, let's seal the deal
(Middle East) Is the new sex appeal
Bam, bam, this is how it feel

Baby, come with me, follow me
Tell me if we can take it to the floor
(Oh-ooh, oh-ooh, oh-ooh, oh-ooh)
Ooh, I'm the fire, the power
And if you're asking
I was gonna take it all (All, all, all)

You know I am
You know I am
'Cause I na-na-na know I am, am
And no one brings me down
I'm gonna take the crown
Give it to me now

Baby
Sometimes life can bring you down
But I'll remember
To always keep my head up
'Cause no one brings me down
I'm gonna take the crown
Give it to me now

Im sorry but this is pure dissapointment...
He is great performer and like Netta said ''Song sucks but he sells it well'' and he does...
I don't see nothing special about Micheal overall and idk if he stand out in Turn but hey hope Israel qualifies

I haven't followed this national final at all so I don't know what other choices they had, but this one is meh. I was listening to it and I was struggling to remember the melody that I had just heard 30 secs ago. The best part of the song is the instrumental part that has a more ethnic sound, the rest is really forgettable.
The performance was alright, though kinda cringy in some parts. There are already two performances of a similar style (Albania & Spain) and they are both better imo but luckily for Israel neither will compete in its semi.
For now I don't see it qualifying but it is in the slightly weaker semi so it might make it.

What exactly was campy about that performance? It was more vanilla-safe than campy, kitsch whatever if you take a look at clothes alone for instance. I think their desire (of the stylist) was to make Rafał look like a sexy boss guy or something.
That’s very gay back alley disco Wrócław 2002. So it’s camp

I quite like him. It's a shame about the song. It's such a monotonous and uninteresting composition. It's like receiving a plain cracker and then watching someone drown the thing in edible glitter. No matter what you do to it it's still a dry cracker at the end of the day and they didn't even have the decency to butter it for me. Why couldn't Michael have sprinkled that fabulousness onto a nice tasty Victoria sponge? I'm (what a song title) is a tedious three minutes saved only momentarily by the obligatory middle eastern dance break, that and the pre chorus where the clothes shop stock music beat stops for a few seconds before guess what? It's the chorus! The exact same music as the verse.

Michael is sassy and joyous to watch. He's got good charisma obviously. It's a shame the song doesn't match him. Think how good this could have been had he been given a piece of music that was actually melodious rather than RuPaul's first go at FruityLoops.

Here's a very kind :5: from me. 3 are for the song, and an extra 2 for the performance. With such wondrous bodily sways I can't have Michael sitting below Bulgaria, Moldova, Czechia and Ireland in my ranking. He can sit with them instead providing some nice company. I hope the team work hard with Michael to salvage the song. It needs a lot of work.

That's very generous, Mr. Woods, given your harsh critiques

Actually a wild thought, what if they decide to turn this into a ballad instead? I mean they did that with "Made of Stars".
I mean it's feasible, alter the lyrics a little and slow down the tempo, it can become a self-love power ballad.
But then it would also mean it could end up being like "Home" which is extremely cringey too.

Sigh, this is incredibly frustrating. Can they just scrap this song altogether and give him a better one? Such a waste of talent.
I really want Israel/Michael to succeed.

Yes, it's true the song is a little generic and stereotyped but I think it has potential, it can entertain the public (as long as an excellent performance is studied for the ESC stage). Michael’s voice is powerful, at times it sounds like a musical and at times it reminded me of several extraordinary LGBT music artists of the past. For the moment I vote 6. I still have to think about it.

Yeah, it is a bit but then I give a bonus point or two to songs usually if the performance is good which I think it was in this case (putting aside the vocals which were a bit dodgy at times but some leeway should be granted cause of the routine). I think it's the worst entry of the year so far but it's at least doing one thing right with how it's being presented. If the song was better the chances of me being on board would be fairly high.

The 8 songs are finally on Spotify. Time to blast "Don't" and "Blinded Dreamers" on repeat.

I notice "I.M" got a teal background instead of the blue like the rest.

Here is the runner-up performance of the night:

If Eli showed an ounce of energy in his performance and doesn't look like he's dead inside, he would have gotten this in the bag as this song is far superior than the winning song.

^^ This performance was already a huge and massive upgrade from what he came up with earlier this week.
Honestly, I think that Eli has a lot of potential and I would like to see him reprsent Israel someday BUT he is not ready right now.

Great energy!
.... and that's it. I wont be listening to this again untill in the semi in May...
Far from what I enjoy both song- and stagewise.

Winner had a very entertaining performance, but the song is quite forgettable.

Runner up song is much better. Sure, he's lacking some stage presence, but maybe it's something it could have been worked around while preparing/revamping for May.
