I liked the song since I listened to in studio version, but was always concern about how it will translate live... typical catchy song that doesn't really work on stage, sadly.

That was one of my faders this year. The staging was very cliché for that kind of song and I had the feeling I'd seen this kind of stuff in several nordic NF over the past years repeatedly. Still I'm sorry for her. It's a fun song and she delivered it well. I would have put her in the final.

My boyfriend has been a fan of the song and performance since it won the national final. I wasn't.

We both agreed tonight that any joy the performance had at the NF had been sucked out of it. The vocals were weak, Emmy looked terrified, the outfit looked uncomfortable, the staging was extremely static. It felt like a NQ after that performance and even my boyfriend (remember he's a fan of the song) agreed this shouldn't qualify.

Perhaps a celtic folk song could be the future next year. Perhaps with guitars and even a Harp but also with a modern touch.

When I saw the staging I knew she wouldn't qualify. The trick was the easy copyable dance, it wasn't there? Why?

Agree with many others here. The staging did go nowhere and her vocal was not very strong. Also Denmark and Luxembourg had MUCH better staging

Unfortunately RTÉ looked to have taken full creative control of the staging and made it a cringe fest. Everything from the marching dog backdrop, to Emmy staying in one spot with dancers around her was so poorly thought out.

Bad camerawork during the "round of 3" qualifier announcements - her brother (the guy with the sunglasses) was mostly in the frame and not Emmy

The vocals were not the best, but you couldn't even hear her? The sound mixing is really bad this year.
