I was over in Turin for the Eurovision, and saw Brooke perform live twice for the Jury and Family Semi Final 2 shows. Prior to these shows I did not think she would qualify, although I was slightly hopeful after seeing her TickTock clip and YouTube rehearsal.
After watching the live shows in the arena and the televised show in the Eurovision Village, I was genuinely gutted she did not qualify, she was definitely good enough - IMO a better vocal and staging than Finland. She had a huge response from both audiences, non Irish people seemed to really enjoy the performance too. She should hold her head up high though, she was brilliant
