very happy this qualified, didn't expect it to be honest. my numer 1 or 2 of the night.
wonderful harmonies, the song has such a gentle vibe and the little lightning sparks on the stage were gorgeous

My mom got a big kick out of the fact that Systur somewhat resembles her and her sisters. They’ve got the same hair colors, and the one with the brown hair wears a hat! (My mom has brown hair and loves hats)

They don’t have a brother, so she joked that their dad was the drummer. I commented “and you’re all singing in Icelandic?” to which she said “dad would’ve picked it up after a couple months spent there”. Her dad was from Poland

And they did! And my only vote went to them. What a soothing and captivating performance. I like how they interact together. Simple & effective, calm & strong at the same time.

Iceland really grew on me over the last week, and even moreso during the show last night. It went from being kind of borderline for me up to being my #7.

I was really happy to see them get through last night.

I watched the Icelandic national selection and this entry clicked with me immediately, it's got a calming, magical vibe about it, I don't think it will do well with the public though in the final, it's too slow and out of place but the reward is Iceland being in the final.

I think for me if something else happened in the performance, it might have held my attention, but they are so static and not very interesting to watch. Sorry, but this will sink with all the other whimsical slower tracks that have something a bit more unique in terms of staging.

everyone who watches the final will think 'how did this even qualify'?

They are precious! - Supporting LGTBQI+ rights - especially transgender rights (which are often overlooked) as well as being totally authentic and vocal about it and their personal experience(s) without judging other people/parents as well as them supporting Ukraine (= standing up against fascism) + singing in Icelandic such a warm and genuine song as well as evoking such intimate atmosphere on stage (real siblings)... seriously, I´m deliriously happy that they made it - they deserved it!

They will probably not go very far on Saturday but I´m really surprised how many positive comments their performance get - on this forum (and your family/friends), my family and comments I checked online.

Maybe a slight dark horse and they may finish around #15??? (fingers crossed!)
