I'm happy to hear that. Though I wouldn't call his participation a failure. He made it all the way to the Super Final, can't be said for almost the rest of the bunch. I love when an artist is this ambitious and whether you liked his efforts so far or not, he has been quite diverse in his song choices.

Hungary is for me the best country in this decade so far : they provided us six amazing songs in a row, and one of them was my first placer the year it did compete (Queen Kati Wolf
), so of course I expect them to send a super duper song in 2017, and I wish they'll take the wanted trophy for the first time in their history !

Im good Mrm,Yes i like Janicsak as well.I think A Dal was poor this year,but next year likely to be strong again.Im glad we voted for Brexit,i love European people and countries,but not the EU.

I have to admit I hated Hungarian entry in 2016, but after ESC performance i changed my mind, especially cause of his live singing he had such an unique and special color of voice, it gave the special flavor to the entry and lifted the song up a lot in my book, his voice sounds much better in live than in studio IMO, which is rare..
I have to say I'd REALLY love to see smth in Hungarian language in Kyiv, maybe even smth pure ethnic or with real ethno ellements, with good vocal and smth unique..
If not, then smth like "Kedvesem" from 2013 wold be more than WELCOME!! Smth quirky and unique..

Gergő Oláh should have won last year, Freddie is welcome to my bedroom any day but his song wasn't anything special... in fact I didn't like anything from Hungary since ByeAlex, they have such a special language... apart from NOX and Kati Wolf aswell I didn't like any Hungarian entry from the 00's-10's

Hungary is a love/hate ESC-country for me. It's either magnificent and daring (2005, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2015), or incredibly lame and desperate for every cliché (2009, 2012, 2013, 2016).
