Freddie slayed it. Great job northern neighbours one more time. Good luck in final, I believe in another top 10 placement

One of the best songs and one of the best performances last night. Well done :hu: ! That is how it is done.

Top 10 is pretty certain imo. Hopefuly the early draw won't screw him too much.

Talk about bringing your A-game to the stage, Freddie totally slayed yesterday! Those vocals, cannot get enough of them! And such a soulful performance, brilliant! Also really loved the visual effect of the floor, it may be a understated, keeping it real performance, but it's hooks like that that make it stand out. Pioneer may not be a fan favourite, but I think it has a real global appeal and will do very well in the televote from casual viewers during the final. I'm pointing to Pioneer as the dark horse for this year, and I'll be rooting for Hungary this Saturday! ESC '17 in Budapest? Bring it on Freddie! xheya

His voice was raspier than a raspberry (pun intended).

Not a fan at all, let's leave it at that.

Pun continued: He is a hungry hungarian for the first victory of Hungary.

I am scared as well, running order can be quite important. Hopefully he lands a spot somewhere near the middle.

Well with how it looks now, hes probably better off in the first half, most of the more uptempo songs are in the second half and if he was there with them (we're talking Russia, Armenia, Malta, Cyprus & Spain) then it will be tough for him to stand out. At the moment hes only got Azerbaijan and France who are also more in the uptempo range to keep him company in the first half, even then France is a different style.

I just gave this a 7. I would have given it more but the performance in SF1 was so poor and his voice so dreadful that I fear he might throw away a perfectly good opportunity for Hungary to register its first victory. What happened? Did he develop vocal polyps?

Yikes, I started out rating this very low but I thought this was thoroughly mediocre on Tuesday. I'm just sort-of bored with it by now so maybe it still appeals to people the way it did when it was fresh to me, but over the past week I had sort-of just forgotten that this song was still in the contest. As far as the performance goes, though, the styling is just bizarre (there's Freddie in a casual t-shirt! there's the singers, all casual looking like they're just rehearsing! and then there's a MONK IN A ROBE!). There's no story there on stage and it just doesn't work together at all.

Well, Freddie is a very gorgeous guy but I am not a big fan of his voice nor his English pronounciation. I didn't understand a single word he was singing about on Tuesday. I think I'll have to look up the lyrics to his song on the internet before the final on Saturday.

Go Hamburg, Nicolai Müller is one of my favourite midfielders from Bundesliga. :D

The running order is not very friendly to Hungary, they are going to perform fifth! :(
Odds are also not very favorable! I really hope this won't flop, as this entry is so underrated!!!

Freddie seems like a nice enough guy but this is really not a good entry - to me it's just a simple song with a bit of whistling in it. I don't believe that it has the strength to succeed in the final.

Final Verdict
:hu:
3 points
Position I want: 22nd
Position I think: 23rd

Well, I don't understand why most people see Pioneer in the bottom 5. This is top 10 material to my ears! "Running" in 2014 wasn't that different to me, it was pop with a wide appeal, but with interesting composition and arrangements that made it sound fresh and worth a good result.

I send all my support vibes to Freddie and wish him good luck. :p And yes, I find him hot eventually, giants with raspy voices can do no wrong!

edit: and I like his shirt a lot, I've always wanted one like this tbh xlove

The only thing that annoys me is one of the annoying background singers that sings "oh oh oh" very annoyingly.
Freddie was awesome as expected, hope he wins or is at least in the top 10.

This year's Eurovision was a farce! Apart from the obvious political voting and Slavic diaspora voting for their homelands, the new vote system probably denied Australia and Dami Im the victory!

Hungary also deserved a much higher place. They obviously got screwed by the running order and didn't get so much attention in the press.

I'm so disappointed. :(
