I don't know why, but I want future Eurovision editions to be produced in a more similar way to the Olympics. Suppose that the next Eurovision will be on 10, 12 and 14 May 2022, the schedule could be like this:
- 7 May, afternoon: Carpet event
- 7 May, evening (8 or 9 PM CEST): Opening Ceremony, held like that of Summer Olympics, in a big stadium near the main venue (for example, if the main shows' venue was in Ahoy Arena, the Opening Ceremony show would be held in De Kuip Stadium). So, it would be different from those of the previous years, which were generally in a city hall or a smaller concert hall.
- 10 May: Semifinal 1 show
- 12 May: Semifinal 2 show
- 14 May: Grand Final show (still with the flag parade, but different from those of the Opening and Closing Ceremony)
- 15 May, evening (8 or 9 PM CEST): Closing Ceremony, held like that of Summer Olympics, again in a big stadium near the main venue (for example, if the main shows' venue was in Ahoy Arena, the Closing Ceremony show would be held in De Kuip Stadium)
