Demet's Karma Will Find You

Demet Akalın (a model back then) dates the most famous basketball player of the early 2000s, Ibrahim Kutluay (an evil playboy). They have a very happy relationship, everyone is looking forward to their marriage.

All of a sudden, Ibrahim dumps Demet, saying that he's not ready for the marriage.
Soon after, he starts to date Demet's friend, who is also a model with the same first name. (Demet Şener, the slut. hereafter Şener to avoid confusion)

Demet Akalın slips into depression, but doesn't give up. She starts her singing career, releasing bops about Islamic karma, her new glamorous life, how she forgot about Ibrahim and her slut friend.

Ibrahim and the homewrecker Şener get married. They have two kids, all paparazzi praise their happy marriage and cute kids. They set an example for all couples. In the meantime, Demet enjoys more and more fame, topping all charts in Turkey in 2000s and 2010s with her breakup bops. Each and every song she drops becomes a hit.

After nearly 20 years, tables turn.
-Homewrecker Şener receives a letter, with the footage of Ibrahim cheating on her. They have a scandalous divorce.
"I have been living a lie all this time. He has been cheating on me since 2012. The Oscar goes to Ibrahim Kutluay. I wish he was an actor." Şener

-Şener sues Ibrahim for not paying spousal support, he faces legal charges.
-She marries a rich businessman, Ibrahim is quaking.

-In the meantime, Demet Akalın already married 3 guys, divorced them all. She becomes the most selling female pop singer, buys the most expensive diamonds, doesn't hesitate to show them off on instagram. Now she's single and ready to mingle.
