Hopefully I will see her live in Athens this year, either on 6th, 12th or 13th July. :love: Finally, for the first time in my life, after 16 years of admiring her and listening to her music.

As to ESC 2006, we'd better forget Poland that year. Poland? What Poland? There was no Poland in Athens. :ROFLMAO:

BTW, to remain in the topic, Amanda really is the right person to bring back ESC to Greece. I prefer Cyprus this year, but as you know, Greece and Cyprus are both always in my heart, even if they send horrible songs.

I don't mean to bring bad vibes to the joy of qualification but I'd swap Greece with a bunch of songs to qualify tbh (Latvia, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria...)

Not surprised by the qualification, still don't like the song though I'm afraid, way too generic for me. I feel like they didn't go the full way with the indie sound and instead half of it is a generic Eurovision ballad by the dozens xshrug

Absolutely great BUT the staging was a real anti climax after all the hype, I mean it was a good staging but that's it

My feeling exactly, I really don't get the appeal xshrug To me it's very cold and calculated, it tries to come off as "indie" or something but when the chorus kicks in it's just the average Eurovision ballad.

Netherlands is like the other side of the coin, it is swimming in similar waters but comes across as authentic and less compromising.
