Fresh and contemporary song.
Unfortunately, the singer is amateur.
Not in a charming way.

I love her and I really hope she will manage to deliver vocally in May. It hard to explain, but she has that sort of unbothered vibe Dua Lipa had (and I absolutely adored) on her first album (before someone decided she should go with temu Beyonce thing instead). I hope they will not go with any choreography for her.

Yep, confirmed Dietmann is doing the staging for :ie: :de: and :au:.

The Austrian rumor turned out to be false.

That seems completely unfitting? Dietmann is very hit and miss for me, and all three of these songs feel like they are not his forte. But well, we'll have to wait and see.

Now with Marvin Dietmann on board the German entry is fully in Austrian hands.

I was WAY too harsh on this we're moving all the way up to 6. xshifty

I also think it's interesting that, in the first Eurovision after Brat Summer, Germany are the only country really acting like it happened. I mean, yes, Beatrice Gjergji IS brat, but I would've expected, like, 4-5 attempts at CharliXCX. Just the one, after all!

I disconnected from Eurovision for a bit in the last few weeks, and finally today I listened to the songs that I hadn´t listened to yet

And I was not ready for the banger that this song is
I love Baller, can't stop listening to it, goes straight to my #2 just behind Lithuania, well done Germany, rooting for you x12points

She has been sick when she auditioned for Chefsache ESC (that was said in the postcard), she has been sick for the NF, she is now sick for the PreParty... :(
With all the stress and events that competetors have to deal with before the Grand Final, I am also not very optimistic 😭 Get well soon

So either she lies or she doesn't protect her voice at all.

She seems to be very vulnerable when it comes to catching a cold. And don´t forget there are still the parties in London and Madrid ahead of her, and don´t get me started with all the rehearsals in between and the week in Basel itself. 😐

I don´t wanna sound mean, but maybe it would be the best if she spends the entire time til Basel in a germ-free room without windows. Otherwise I can already see this ending in a big disaster in Basel, because if she´s unable to deliver there they won´t get any points from the jurys and even getting at least some televotes will be very difficult.
