I prefered it when he was rapping directly into the camera during the NF. Here it is less intense imo. Overall, the staging is nice though. Intimate atmosphere, good vocals, the pause is kind of cool.

Intimate, touching, he is talking to every single of us. Not a single dull thing in this performance. I love Eurovision, but when i check the ratings of this song here, seriously guys? I’m ashamed, but biti zdrava, I guess, not everyone has a taste in music.

I think we have some of the best camera shots, with the right amount of close ups and less irritating wide shots. And his charme works on stage I guess. Malik is a good guy.

This one has grown on me since the NF, I really hope he can avoid the “ I’m sorry, zero points”.

The staging is really cute and I love the shaky camera during the rap part. But I honestly don't know how he is supposed to get any points, the competition is so good and has so much more going for them.

Not a good feeling with this and hope that this will finally ditch every responsible person that is responsible for this Trauerspiel since ten years (minus one lucky shot in 2018).

Einen Tag vor dem GF und wir sind bei den Wettquoten da, wo wir schon so oft waren und irgendwann auch gelandet sind: Schlusslicht.
Kein gutes Gefühl dabei und hoffen, dass dies endlich alle Verantwortlichen fallen lässt, die seit zehn Jahren (abzüglich eines glücklichen Schusses in 2018) für dieses Trauerspiel verantwortlich sind.

Die Verantwortlichen des NDR haben klar gesagt, dass sie nicht gewinnen wollen.

Well it's a great achievement for our standards lol. But tbh I'm losing hope, too. The betting odds are not always correct but they're a good compass. We're definitely in the Bottom 5 again and probably last place which I would find unfair because his performance deserves better but let's be real. And we have a terrible position imo. He performs after the big favorite Ukraine. I find that decision a bit weird btw.

Germany has the most generic non-Swedish song ever, but it's not exactly bad. They really kind of deserve to get something better than last place. Germany is just really unlucky that all the other big 5 countries showed up with something that either has broad appeal and shows more class (Spain, UK, Italy) or is good in a niche (France). It needs to beat one of the semi entries and that means you are on the backfoot because it's clear they have some appeal.
