Here in Germany we cant have an internal Selection because the Fan- and Mediaprotests would be too big.
Our HoD said in an interview that many people of thedelegation desperately want to have an internal selection for some time but somehow ARD/ NDR is always forcing them to have a NF...

Nomatter what one think of his Political Views, Im pretty sure his Song would have been Worlds better than Jamie Lees horrible Song. But after 2009, its better not to Choose internally unless its Helene Fischer of Course.

But to me it seems like many fans would also prefer an internal selection due to the weak NFs of the past years? And media... Well it's no MF so do they care so much about it?
If they manage to have a decent NF next year I'd be fine with that too of course.

I mean, this year's concept was actually decent (especially the fact that they are involving some sort of juries again). They just gotta iron out some of the flaws. The goal should be to turn our NF into one of the TV-highlights of the year, something that the public AND artists are looking forward to - that can only be achieved by constantly working on and trying to improve every aspect of the show.
