defense though they're truly schizo in this contest, often unpredictable, sometimes sending safe dated cheese (like the ones mentioned above) and sometimes sending something completely out there... unfortunately though, only had one really good entry to date:
Although Shine was decent... the rest so far could be ranked from mediocre at best to pure crap
, last year was definitely in the "crap department" and also a good showcase of why juries shouldn't be involved in ESC... thankfully televoters saved us from hearing that wailing nonsense again in the final
I am curious about this year's entry though, I have a feeling I might like it

Sopho from 2007 was for a long time my fave gerogian enry, and it is really AMAZING...but recently Gerogia sent 2 GEMS - 2015 Nina Sublatti and in 2014 - The Shin and Mariko - "Three Minutes to Earth" that are nor better for me tahn 2007 entry!
I ADORE Georgia in ESC recently..I hope and have feeling I will adore their entry this year..it has even potential to be my fave...can not wait to listen to it..

Just to join the club (small, but that's ok) who disliked "Warrior". Georgia to me is always like "Oh, I love it", or "WTF".
2007 - fantastic, probably still the best Georgia has sent so far
2008 - horrible
2009 - they didn't put it in at the end
2010 - surprising staging and great/beautiful singer created magic with an overall average song. Deserved top 10. The funny thing though is this: this would have been 5th with the new voting system.
2011 - I liked it
2012 - meh
2013 - horrible and my least favourite Georgian entry
2014 - meh
2015 - no
2016 - YES! They were my favourites.
2017 - looked better than expected, but in the strong field it was obvious Georgia won't make it.

The video clip on the entry song ‘For You’ of the Georgian participants of 2018 Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), ethnic jazz band Group “Iriao,” will be shot by director Zaza Orashvili in Saguramo. Shooting of the video clip will begin tomorrow. Dancers of ‘Erisioni’ Ensemble will take part in the video clip.
