A chore to get through, many boring songs, great winner though

1 Grethe & Jørgen Ingmann - Dansevise + (Beautiful song, great of the norwegian jury to secure that the correct song won, even though the jury consisted of random students who was there to earn 150 kroner, because no one else wanted to ``waste their saturday evening``. )

6 Anita Thallaug - Solhverv (Not too great, but i enjoy hearing Norwegian language in this style, since it is not common. Probably the least known Norwegian entry in Norway, because someone decided to not send the contest on radio, and most people didn`t have TVs at the time. Our first and definetely not last last place. Nul points very harsh, but i get why this didn`d stick out at the time)

A good year, with no bad songs, but only one big standout. Italy deserved to win in a landslide, best song by far.
Love that the host speaks in Danish.

Great year, first time i give two 12 pointers
But the juries ruined it by selecting the worst song as the winner
The neighbour voting is getting embarassing at this point
Happy they went back to the normal scoreboard

1 Åse Kleveland - Intet er nytt under solen (Great song, love the guitar, and her voice. Thanks to the Italian jury for having this as their favourite. Weird how this masterpiece were both proceded and followed by so many meh norwegian entries. She hosted Eurovision in 1986.)

1968

A great year, but uneven. Love many of these songs, but alslo a fair amount of average and bad songs. Also a very well poroduced show. Do realy like the winner, but i don`t agree with it winning.
Very close betweeen second and fifth place.

1 Cliff Richard - Congratulations (Great song, should have won, a classic)
2 Wenche Myhre - Ein Hoch der Liebe + (A norwegian artist that somehow never won MGP (should have in 1964, and maybe in 1992). She got famous in Germany and represented them in eurovision in 1968. I like this one a lot)
3 Dubrovački trubadulassiri - Jedan dan
4 Claude Lombard - Quand tu reviendras
5 Isabelle Aubret - La source (Much better than her winner from 1962 Un premier amour)
6 Massiel - La, la, la + (Love the verses a lot. The chorus is more in guilty pleasure teritory, it is catchy, but the lyrics should have been different. Also i get unconfortable by the fact that this song was suposed to be sung by Joan Manuel Serrat, but he wanted to sing it in Catalan, that wasn`t alowed by Spain`s dictatorship, so they changed the singer and she sang it in Spanish. Don`t think the chorus woul have sounded that different in Catalan. I do realy like this song, but my top 5 deserved a win more)
7 Claes-Göran Hederström - Det börjar verka kärlek, banne mej
8 Odd Børre - Stress (Hilarious song, and even more fun if you understand the lyrics. Very fun entry. Thanks to the Irish and Luxembourgish jury for giving this some points. It was a different song who won MGP, but that one was accused of plagiarism, and was therefore withdrawn from Eurovision. It was a bit boring, so i am glad Stress was sent instead,)

Great year, many great songs, only one bad one, which sadly is Norway.
Austria withdrew to boycot Franco, maybe they shouldn't have given Spain 2 points the year before to secure them the win then.
Very weird that nobody had thought about what would happen in the case of a tie.

This song caused a big debate in Norway after a danish university professor called Erling Nielsen went on NRK right after Mgp too strongly critizize the song, and pop music and pop culture in general. This caused a huge debate in Norway.

The scandinavian countries, Portugal, and Austria withdrew to protest the 4 winners in 1969. Maybe a bit too strong reaction
