FSC Norway - June 2025 - Jonathan Floyd ft. Astelle - Legg deg i mitt fang​

Representing Norway in June 2025, and returning to FSC for Norway after 1.8 years, is the young, popular and talented Norwegian pop-artist called Jonathan Floyd, this time with Astelle on co-vocals. Here is some more information about them.

Jonathan Floyd from Oslo, Norway is in his early 20s but despite his young age (he started making music when he was a young teenager), this artist, writer and producer has already secured gold plaques, P3 Gull and performances on Norway’s biggest live event, “VG-lista”. Praised by fans and critics alike, Jonathan Floyd received a Best Newcomer Music Award in 2021, and loves 80’s inspired pop anthems infused with melancholy.

Inspired by heroes such as The Weeknd and Unge Ferrari (Norwegian singer and rap-artist), this young artist combines atmospheric and retro-inspired R&B productions with melancholic and catchy melody lines. Several of his newer songs are clearly inspired by Synth-pop/Electro-pop music as well. He often sings in Norwegian language which is a bit unique since most Norwegian artists performing songs in the Electro-pop / Synth-pop genre sing in English. In the Norwegian Rap / Hip Hop genre, however most artists sing in Norwegian. In this respect he can be looked as a crossover music artist.

Some of his most popular songs are: “Perlene”, “Fly”, “Danser Likevel”, “Chick fra LA”, “Heartbreaker”, “Når jeg faller ned”, “High For This Life”, and the Dark Synth-pop song “Intensjoner” which was the Norwegian entry in FSC October 2023.

He released an EP called “Requiem” in October 2024 with 4 songs. One of these new songs was the Electro-pop banger called “Legg deg i mitt fang” which featured Astelle on co-vocals. This is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwegian entry here in FSC June 2025.

Jonathan Floyd is very successful on streaming services and keeps drawing audiences in Norway, not the least the younger generations. He is an artist we will without doubt hear more from in the years to come.

Astelle (Anna Anita Jaskiv) is a young Norwegian singer-songwriter who came in the top 10 in pop-IDOL on Norwegian tv some years ago. She has released one solo-single so far, and has contributed on several songs by other artists and music producers. She is proud to share co-vocals on Jonathan Floyd’s song “Legg deg i mitt fang”.

FSC Norway - July 2025 - K-391 ft. Syn Cole & Julianne Aurora Bratlie - Fantasia ​

Representing Norway in FSC July 2025, and returning to FSC after several years, is the popular Norwegian DJ & EDM-Producer and artist K-391. This time Syn Cole & Julianne Aurora Bratlie feature on his catchy summer-vibed song. Here is some more information about them.

K-391 is a Norwegian DJ & EDM-Producer and artist called Kenneth Nilsen. He is 30 years old and very secretive, there is little personal information about him. He created the K-391 music project and often uses a mask in videos and a ‘headset’ as a figure or logo which is meant to ‘conceptualize’ himself. He has made music for many years, his songs have been played millions of times on YouTube, and he has a large following in the EDM-community.

However, his official debut-single was the EDM-song “Ignite”, together with Alan Walker, a famous EDM-Producer/artist from Norway, and with Julie Bergan & Seungri on vocals. It was released in May 2018 and was the Norwegian entry in FSC July 2018. K-391 also collaborated on the popular song “Lily” which was by Alan Walker with vocals by Emelie Hollow. It was released in December 2018 and was the Norwegian entry in FSC December 2019.

In October 2020 he released a new EDM-song called “Aurora” which was the Norwegian entry in FSC August 2021. He also featured on Alan Walker’s song “Paradise” in 2021 (Norwegian entry in FSC February 2022) and released many subsequent songs on his own in the following years including “Nightmare”, “Lonely World”, “Magic” and “M.I.A.” featuring other singers.

He keeps making new songs and in November 2024 he released a new popular EDM-song called “Fantasia” featuring Syn Cole & Julianne Aurora Bratlie. This is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwergian entry here in FSC July 2025.

We will certainly hear more from the talented Norwegian K-391 in the future.

Syn Cole (stage name of Rene Pais) is a skilled Estonian DJ and record producer. Some of his notable songs include "Miami 82" (in 2013), "Bright Lights" (in 2014), and "Feel Good" (in 2016). His singles and remixes have according to sources amassed over 1 billion total streams on YouTube and Spotify. Syn Cole has released music on Universal, Sony, and Warner. He has collaborated with many other artists, and in 2024 he featured on K-391’s song “Fantasia”.

Julianne Aurora Bratlie is a talented Norwegian singer and songwriter. She has collaborated with K-391 several times, for ex. on the song “Lighthouse” which she wrote and similarly on the song “Nightmare”. She co-wrote his 2024-single “Fantasia” where she also provided vocals.

The Norwegian entry for FSC #197 July 2025, called “Fantasia”, is a melodic summer-vibed EDM-song by K-391 ft. Syn Cole and Julianne Aurora Bratlie. The Norwegian jury is happy to enter K-391 again in the FSC for Norway.

FSC Norway - August 2025 - Inger Lise Hope - Don’t Cry For Me ​

Representing Norway in FSC August 2025, and making her debut for Norway in FSC, is the talented new Norwegian female vocalist Inger Lise Hope. Here is some more information about her.

Inger Lise Hope is a rising star in the Norwegian music scene, known for her powerful vocals, emotional depth and near classical crossover style. She released an album in 2019, but gained national recognition after winning The Voice Norway 2024 where she impressed audiences with her exquisite and moving performances of ballads and powerful pop classics.

Originally from Stavanger, Norway, she has a background in both gospel music and classical music which often shines through in her signature blend of technical precision and heartfelt expression.

In late 2024 she began releasing original material including the songs ‘Paralyzed’ and ‘Snow Waltz’, and in May 2025 came the beautiful and powerful new single “Don’t Cry For Me” which she also co-wrote. This is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwegian entry here in FSC August 2025.

Whether she is performing an epic cover or an intimate original song, Inger Lise captivates audiences with authenticity, grace and vocal strength. We will without doubt hear more from her in the years to come.

FSC Norway - September 2025 - KEiiNO - HALO ​

Representing Norway in September 2025, and returning to the FSC for Norway, is the Eurovision-famous Norwegian/Sami group KEiiNO who won the popular televote in ESC 2019. Here is some more information about them.

KEiiNO, established in 2018, is a Norwegian/Sami Folk-pop group consisting of Norwegian artists Tom Hugo Hermansen (singer/songwriter), Alexandra Rotan (vocalist) and Norwegian Sámi rapper/joiker Fred Buljo.

The group name KEiiNO was inspired by the name of Fred Buljo’s home town Kautokeino (Sami: Guovdageaidnu). The last part -geaidnu translates to the “way” or “road” which Buljo stated “represents the road that brought us together”.

Their dreams were truly realised after joining forces - a force the Sámi (the indigenous people of Norway) believe you can find connecting with nature. The northern lights, dancing colourful and free, serve as a symbol of how KEiiNO believes everyone should be allowed to feel - regardless of who they love, how they look or where they are from. KEiiNO dares to dream that their music will inspire people all over the world to rise above differences and work together.

The Norwegian 2019 MGP-winner “Spirit in the Sky” received the highest points in ESC 2019 from the European public’s televoting, winning the televote with an impressive 291 points, ending 6th in the end (including jury-votes). The song became a popular hit song.

Since ESC KEiiNO have released the album “OKTA” and many songs incl. “Dancing in the Smoke” (Norwegian FSC-entry November 2019), “Colours” (Norwegian FSC-entry May 2020), “Monument” (Entry MGP 2021, 2nd place), “Unbreakable” (Norwegian FSC-entry April 2021), “End of Time” (Norwegian FSC-entry April 2022),“Nights of Thunder” (Norwegian FSC-entry January 2023), “Damdiggida” (MGP 2024-entry), “Insomnia” (Norwegian FSC-entry September 2024), “Northern Boy”, and “Midnight Gloria” (Norwegian FSC-entry March 2025).

In February 2025 KEiiNO released a new single, the song called “HALO” with thumping Scandipop-dance beats and melodic harmonies KEiiNO-style. This is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwegian entry here in FSC September 2025.

They have been working on a new album to be released in autumn 2025 and they also released another single recently called “Unstoppable”. They have passion and energy which they show in their music and music concerts around Europe. We will for sure hear more from KEiiNO in the years to come.

The Norwegian entry for FSC #199 September 2025, called “HALO”, is another catchy and melodic Scandipop-song by Norwegian/Sami KEiiNO. The Norwegian jury is happy to enter KEiiNO again in the FSC for Norway.
