LYRICS:

Cada día al despertar
lo primero que siento
es que mis pensamientos
se hacen realidad.
Hay, porque esperar
si la vida es un sueño
y es un paraíso y quiero nadar.

Hay, en estas aguas de tus ondas
y que tu una vez igual, hay hay hay...

& quiero, quiero que te tires
al agüita, suba ,suba
hay que rica, tu forma de nadar
tu estilo natural.

tu estilo natural.

& quiero, quiero que te tires
al agüita, suba ,suba
hay que rica, tu forma de nadar
tu estilo natural.

Yo no se
como llegue acá
como llegue tan lejos
como llegue acá ha.

Ya no estamos en la orilla
ya no estamos en el mar
y me da un poco de miedo
ya no entiendo no tocar
pero al verte a ti nadando
con tu estilo natural
tanta fuerza que me da.

Vengo de la playa
la sangre que me quema
mis ojos se en llaman
mi piel es morena
tengo tanta cana
ya no puedo mas
Vamos esta noche a una vuelta dar
Candela x10
Tanta fuerza que me daaaa. ha!

& quiero, quiero que te tires
al agüita, suba ,suba
hay que rica, tu forma de nadar
tu estilo natural.

Uh OH Uh Oh
Ahhhh!
(Suba, suba)

Good luck to all the entries!!!, and if you enjoyed the song im looking forward to recieve your votes :D

LYRICS:

Ohhh… oh oh oh
Con paso firme siempre camine
Y como todos yo me tropecé
Pero sin duda ya me levante
Y ahora tú me quieres ver caer

Inevitable… no intentes frenarme, hoy soy imparable…

Inevitable… no intentes frenarme, hoy soy imparable…
Hoy sé quien soy yo…
Inevitable…No puedo callarme, no importa que hablen…
Hoy sé quien soy yo…
Lo siento pero jugaste con fuego
Hoy sé quien soy yo… (Hoy sé quien soy yo)
Y vuelves de nuevo queriendo ponerme freno
Hoy sé quien soy yo… Hoy sé quien soy yo

Ahora lo siento, ahora lo siento, ahora lo siento
Hoy sé quien soy yo…
Inevitable… no intentes frenarme, hoy soy imparable…
Hoy sé quien soy yo…
Inevitable…No puedo callarme, no importa que hablen…
Hoy sé quien soy yo…

LYRICS:

Necesito ver tu rostro
cuando hay satisfacción
y aprenderme bien tus caras
cuando hacemos el amor

Cuando estamos en un cuarto
con los cuerpos al desnudo
con la sábana te cubres
o te escondes en lo obscuro

Pero es justo y necesario
que le pierdas el temor
no me asustan las estrías
ni las marcas por el Sol

Necesito ver tu rostro
cuando hay satisfacción
y aprenderme bien tus caras
cuando hacemos el amor

Lo lamento ay cosita de mi vida
pero hoy y siempre te voy a hacer mía
con la luz prendida.

Melissa-Barrera.jpg

Melissa & Sebastian is a Mexico-Argentine pop music duo created in the year 2012. It is composed of Melissa Barrera and Sebastian Martingaste. Melissa is from Mexico and Sebastián is from Argentina but since many years ago has been living on Mexico.
Both partners participated in the reality show La Academia (broadcasted by Azteca TV). Melissa is an alumna of the Ninth Generation, while Sebastian took part in the Seventh Generation, the latter also part of the extinct group "Tobby".
The song "Mamma Maria" was the one that led them to fame in 2013, becoming a radio hit almost immediately, and being recognized in Mexico and much of Latin America. The track is a cover of the group of the 80's "Ricchi e Poveri".

The song: Esperandome, forms part of their debut album that was released just a month ago. It is a sweet romantic ballad and also one of the best songs from the cd. They had more uptempo songs, but i decided to go for a ballad instead since it has been a long time since i didnt send one.

Lets hope we wont be last place this time compared to previous month

Since there isnt an official videoclip yet, you can listen to the song here:

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!xlove

Rabia Sorda is a free spirit. It sails the depths of sound.

Rabia Sorda is the brainchild of Erk Aicrag, who since 2003 unleashed his inner voices to venture within his cosmic noise. His process is about transforming, destroying and recreating himself within the world around. Jeans, Marcus Engel and Grigory Feil join in to burst the experience beyond the barrier of sound itself.

Rabia Sorda is anger set to music. On his newest outing “Hotel Suicide”, Hocico-front man Erk Aicrag has mastered the nigh impossible feat of capturing the brute force and sincerity of his live shows on record. The songs go right for the emotional center like a fist in your face and then rumble through your body like a runaway freight train, while effectively mingling the dark heavy atmosphere of Post Punk with the direct and aggressive approach of Hardcore and Punk on a cocktail of electronics, harsh drums, wild buzz-saw guitars and straightforwardly catchy melodies. “Hotel Suicide” is 100% gut feeling that is unleashed in form of the most explosive sonic bastard of Industrial, Post Punk and Electroclash this year! As a special bonus, the first pressing of the album will contain the exclusive bonus disc “Room 13” which contains two more unreleased songs, remixes by OST+FRONT, Forgotten Sunrise and many more, plus six energetic live tracks, recorded in Leipzig. Songs like salvos from an automatic gun: welcometo Hotel Suicide! Viva la Revolución!

ARTIST: HADRIAN
SONG: LOS SOBRINOS

I know many of you dislike rap music in FSC, but still this song was my guilty pleasure among 3 other candidates i had for :mx: entry which were more well-known choices. Im not obssesed on sending different genres as it might seem. My selection is never random, i send the songs i like the most from my country even though they end badly as usual. Some mainstream choices arent my favorites, so even though i dont have good results, it doesnt matter, im not here to archieve a number, im here to present my favorite mexican music and since 2 years ago i didnt send any rap music for the fear of a bad result i decided to not care and once more present a song of this genre. I know our rap music isnt great as in USA, UK, Sweden, France, etc, but still if some of you are curious to go beyond the mexican artists everyone knows, rap music has some talented artists that are not supported by the national discographic companies, maybe we are year-light ahead on sound technitians to have a more mature rap composition but well, some of the great rappers started from 0, so lets give a chance to this performers that look to be recognized at least by some people.

HADRIAN, EMPEROR OF MEXICAN RAP

At 25, Adrian studied International Trade, but his passion is to be MC. For him, Red Bull is the only brand that supports this type of event. Spent three years in the scene.

Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos saw the crowning of the glibbest rapper in the Spanish-speaking world. MC Hadrian proved he had the best rhymes. But Mexico City’s local hero had a few other talents up his sleeve that garnered him the winning title.

The Roman emperor Hadrian, who died 1870 years ago in Naples, was multi-talented: esthetic poet and celebrated commander; a top swimmer, horse rider and hunter as well as a fashionable trendsetter all in one. (All Romans worth their salt wore their beards like the emperor.)

And there are a few things that his Mexican namesake MC Hadrian has in common with the Roman. He also writes ingenious rhymes, is stylish, shows combativeness on stage and is talented in a number of disciplines. ‘His style was more complete; his flow and ingeniousness were outstanding,’ praised MC Juaninacka from Spain, one of the adjudicators at Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos, the first and only international MC battle for Spanish-language rappers.

OFFICIAL VIDEOCLIP:

If you understand spanish, you will see that the lyrics dont speak specifically about drugs or prostitutes. Hadrian inspired himself to write this song because it happened on real life all that he sings and tells about how difficult is to live on a country full of corruption and violence like the one we are living nowadays. I liked it because of the letter mostly, the lyrics are not primitive as other in rap songs.

LYRICS:

yo nunca recibí un consejo
y los puercos me quitaron a mi viejo
y no me quejo

(coro)

mi gente me respalda armas cortas y largas

antes muchos me despreciaban

mi gente me respalda armas cortas y largas
las calles no limpiadas
yo batí records con tanta medalla

Que bien te ves asi junto a mi
Es aqui donde quiero estar
Pero empiezo a sudar
Algo en mi interior pronto va a explotar

Muy dentro de mi sufro por ti
Siento celos si, celos si
Tengo que olvidar
Quiero superar esta obsesi0n

Dentro de mi cada vez mas
Siento celos si, celos si
Atrapada por ti, atrapada por ti estoy

Celos si, celos si
Siento celos si, celos si
Celos si, celos si
Siento celos si, celos si

Si te veo salir quiero controlar
Cada paso y con quien te vas
Maldita inseguridad, cada dia es peor
No puedo mas

Muy dentro de mi sufro por ti
Siento si, celos si
Tengo que olvidar
Quiero superar esta obsesi0n

Dentro de mi cada vez mas
Siento celos si, celos si
Y yo sigo aqui
Tu me tienes atrapada

Celos si, celos si
Siento celos si, celos si
Celos si, celos si
Siento tantos celos si, celos si

Muy dentro de mi...
Siento celos...
Atrapada por ti...
Atrapada por ti estoy

Muy dentro de mi sufro por ti
Siento celos si, celos si
Tengo que olvidar
Quiero superar esta obsesi0n

Dentro de mi cada vez mas
Siento celos si, celos si
Atrapada por ti, atrapada por ti estoy

Celos si, celos si
Siento celos si, celos si
Celos si, celos si
Siento tantos celos si, celos si

Gloria Trevi (born Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruiz on February 15, 1968) is a Mexican pop-rock singer-songwriter. Called the "Supreme Diva of Mexican Pop" by the music channel VH1, Trevi has sold more than 20 million records.

Born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, Gloria Trevi left Monterrey at the age of twelve to pursue a career in Mexico City, where she met her future manager, Sergio Andrade. She had earlier sung and danced on the streets for spare change, taught aerobics, and served quesadillas at a food stand.

In 1985, Trevi was a member of a short-lived girl group named Boquitas Pintadas. After the group broke up in 1988, she approached Sergio Andrade for the production of her first solo album, ¿Qué Hago Aquí? ("What am I doing Here?"), was released in 1989 and scored a number one hit, Dr. Psiquiatra.Though often styled as Madonna of Mexico, she was hardly just very sexually provocative, she was using her music and videos as a vehicle for gutsy taboo busting political activism in a Mexico where impunity of the powerful was well understood, her lyrics dealt squarely with religion, homelessness, prostitution, drug trafficking, drug overdose, hunger, the upper class, war deaths, and violence against women. Trevi ruffled many feathers and found many enemies.

Trevi followed this first record with Tu Ángel de la Guarda ("Your Guardian Angel"), which was even more successful. Pelo Suelto was successful too, reaching number one all over Latin America and in Spain. Her third album, Me siento tan sola ("I Feel So Lonely"), was released in 1992 garnering another hit, Zapatos Viejos ("Old Shoes"). All three albums were recorded in Los Angeles. In 1993, Trevi was nominated for Pop Female Artist of the Year at the Lo Nuestro Awards.

In 1994, she released the singles El Recuentro De Los Daños and La papa sin catsup of the album Más Turbada Que Nunca, both which hit the top of the Billboard Latin charts. The former song had heavy societal critiques, the lyrics described the machismo and taboo practice of out of wedlock fetal murder by blunt trauma.

In 2000, Trevi, Andrade, and backup singer Maria Raquenel Portillo were arrested in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on charges of corrupting minors. A year later, Trevi announced that she was pregnant while in prison; the father of the child was Andrade, according to DNA tests by the Brazilian authorities (Trevi and her defence claimed that the results of the DNA test were doctored).Trevi was cleared of the charges in 2004, due to lack of evidence, after spending four years and eight months in prison.

Trevi married Armando Gómez, a lawyer, in 2009. She now lives in McAllen, Texas.

Perhaps the song Bipolar may not be for everyone´s tastes, but nevertheless its an original entry which might remember you a musical performance. There were other songs in her new cd De Pelicula which were more safer choices, but i didnt enjoy em a lot. Bipolar grew on me the past 3 weeks because its melacolic and fierce at the same time. It was the last chance to send Gloria Trevi this month

Raúl Alejandro Escajadillo Peña (born September 29, 1969 in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico), better known as Aleks Syntek, is a Mexican singer, songwriter and producer.

50631_540x810.jpg

From an early age he began to show his talent, and at the age of 11 he began composing his own music and lyrics. It was not until 1984 that his interest in music turned professional, and he assumed the stage name Aleks Syntek, ("Syntek" being a shorthand name for "sin teclados", lit. "without keyboards;" the name was given by a friend from whom he had asked to borrow a keyboard.)

In 1999 he produced some of the tracks for the comedic drama movie hit "Sexo, Pudor y Lagrimas" (Sex, Shame and Tears).

As of 2008, he is working on a crossover album for the English-speaking market. The album will consist of English versions of his past Spanish hits, such as "Duele El Amor" (Love Hurts) and "Intocable" (Untouchable).

In 2008, Syntek collaborated on song "Aquí Estoy Yo" with singers Luis Fonsi, David Bisbal and Noel Schajris, a song included on Latin Grammy Award-nominated album Palabras del Silencio by Luis Fonsi.

On August 30, 2009, he released a new single titled "Loca" also used as the main-theme for telenovela Los Exitosos Perez and first single from his latest album. "Loca" reflects a reimaging of Robert Palmer's[2] "Addicted to Love" music video.[3]

Syntek is credited with singing in the chorus for Somos El Mundo, a production by Latin American artists in order to raise awareness and inspire charity after the tragic earthquake in Haiti. He can also be seen in the music video.

2014 was his six-time Latin GRAMMY nomination for Best Latin Pop Album "Syntek". Released in 2012, the album includes the hit "La Tormenta" (The Storm). His new album "Romántico desliz" includes the theme for the soap opera "Corazones Invencibles" (Unstoppable Hearts).

Years ago he was featured on Kylie Minogue's single "In my Arms".

Sadly our original entry was disqualified today, so the back-up entry will represent us. This is the 2nd time Memo Salazar participates for our country. He represented us with Prodigo back in 2013. Let´s see if he improves his score or does much worse.

He is a singer from the southeast region of the country , Chiapas with 28 years old and almost 15 year career , arrived on the scene with a new project called " This is Love " with a special collaboration of Ray Alonso , available already on the market containing 12 tracks on which fails to reflect maturity both musically and spiritually. This project's main essence show the true love that changes lives and makes them happy forever , is the love of God , which is EVERYTHING , shows an evolution and maturity in the sound of his musicar , this material contains sounds from electronic , pop and alternative rock, and the message of each song competition aims to transform , renew and motivate a personal experience with Jesus Christ.

This song has a futuristic concept were robots are part of the life on earth. The song is on synth-pop style. Enjoy and good luck to all!!

Camila is a Mexican soft rock group formed in 2005. Founded by the award-winning composer, singer and producer Mario Domm (Coahuila, Mexico), Camila made its official debut in 2005 when Domm signed his first record contract with Sony Music, together with his friends and colleagues guitarist Pablo Hurtado (San Luis Potosí) and Veracruz native Samo who abandoned the band one year ago and decided to go solo.

Some of you were waiting for this band to represent :mx: at WV. Im not a huge fan of their songs, but truly the song Tu is something very different of the things they have released. Its a mixture of dubstep, opera, piano and rock music, something that might remind you of a soundtrack belonging to an apocalyptic movie. I really enjoyed my entry very much. So if youre into experimental sounds perhaps this song might be just right with you :D

Songs like “Abrázame,” “Coleccionista de canciones,” “Todo cambió,” “Mientes,” “Aléjate de mí” and “Bésame,” have gained them three Latin Grammy Awards, three Billboard Awards, Diamond and Platinum certifications, and more than two million albums sold worldwide.

Curent members:

Mario Domm:

Composer, singer, and producer born in torreon coahuila, Mario Domm commands multiple musical instruments, such as: drums, piano, guitar, and bass.He has worked to artists Alejandro Sanz, Taboo (of the Black Eyed Peas), Alejandra Guzmán, Kalimba, Reyli, Sin Bandera, Rosana, Jesse and Joy, Romeo, Alejandro Fernández and Thalía.
Domm lives in Los Angeles, California, where he works in his own recording studio named Pop The Cherry Studios.

Pablo Hurtado:

Guitarist and co-producer of Camila, Pablo Hurtado joined the project shortly before graduating in music production and audio engineer at the Fermatta Music School. He was born in Mexico City and grew up in San Luis Potosí in a family with artistic sensibilities. He began playing the piano at the age of five and when he turned seven his father introduced him to classical guitar. As a teenager he tried the electric guitar. He began to play with several rock bands, and later became interested in musical theatre and progressive music. At the age of 20, he returned to Mexico City and began his audio engineering studies, which opened his mind to other musical genres such as jazz, blues, funk and pop. At present, sponsored by the guitar brand PRS, Pablo has acquired knowledge and refinement and shows a fresh perspective whether playing acoustic music or intricate solos, sweet ballads or daring ones. His talent has been essential as co-author of several songs in all three of Camila’s albums (“Todo cambió”, “Dejarte de amar”, “Elypse”), which has allowed him to come in contact with giants of world music. He lives in Los Angeles, California, where he has his own recording studio, Cypress Overdrive Studios.

Shaila Dúrcal (born Shaila de los Ángeles Morales de las Heras on August 28, 1979) is a Spanish Grammy nominated singer-songwriter. She is the daughter of Latin Grammy award winner Rocío Dúrcal. Her father was Antonio "Junior" Morales.

She was born in Madrid and made her musical debut at the age of 12 on TVE singing for Nikka Costa. She studied singing under the tutelage of Robert Jeantal before touring extensively with her mother Rocío as a back-up singer throughout Spain, Mexico and the United States. This album was followed by Recordando in 2006 on EMI, an album dedicated to her mother and which went straight to number one in Spain, going platinum in its second week after selling over 80,000 singles.
