Welcome to FSC Song Submissions


Please submit your entries ( Main entry + Back Up ) for FSC #164 October 2022


The deadline: 28.09.2022, 23:59 CET

Songs ( Main entry + Back Up ) are submitted ( by HOJ )
via your FSC Private Forum - or by a PM to me, Malagant
Keep in mind that the songs/artists are not allowed to be revealed until
all entries have been officially announced at the start of a new FSC-month

Please include: Artist/Songtitle/Release Date/MP3 file/Video (Official/Picture)
If you don’t have an MP3 file/video at hand, please contact the FSC Show Mod Host for assistance
For MP3 songfiles-upload please use Sendspace or Dropbox (they are safe, trusted filesharing sites)

A Back-Up entry is compulsory (mandatory) for all countries in the FSC
It is submitted together with / at the same time as the Main entry
For Back Up entries (used if the Main entry is dq) it is necessary to submit name of
artist , songtitle , release date & video (MP3 link may be submitted later , if needed)

Please ensure All entries are eligible (National artist/Not older than 12 months/No cover)
If the submitted entries are not eligible according to the FSC Rules, they will not be allowed to participate in the FSC

Please inform in the Song Submissions thread when you post entries in your FSC Private Forum
It helps the FSC Mods , we can go check quickly & makes it easier to complete the confirmation process efficiently & well

Entries (with above supplements) submitted after the set Deadline will not be accepted
We strongly encourage all FSC member-countries to submit entries soon and not to wait until the last minute
If entries are submitted after the set Deadline, then that/those country/ies will have to sit out this FSC-edition

FYI: FSC 12 month rule and release dates

I have been asked by a member about the FSC 12 month rule for eligible entries. Most juries understand this well but here is a reminder for everyone:

Think of the same month 1 year ago. So for FSC October 2022 the earliest eligible release date is 1st October 2021. If the song was released on 30th September 2021 or earlier it is too old for FSC October 2022.

For FSC November 2022 the song has earliest eligible release date 1st November 2021. For FSC December 2022 earliest eligible release date is 1st December 2021. Etc.

This is the easiest way to remember the rule I think.


Let me add that it is important to note that it is the 1st release date on the internet for a studio version of the song that counts in FSC. So even if a single of the entry was officially released on 1st October 2021 it is still not eligible for FSC October 2022 if the song was included on an album released on 30th September 2021 or earlier.

Keep also in mind that a studio version on Youtube also counts as a release date. This means you need to google very well, check many places on the internet before submission in FSC, to ensure the entry is eligible. The exact same goes for the Back Up.

and must therefore, sadly, sit out this coming edition.

They will also receive 1 Warning Point for non-participation ref. FSC Warning Rules.

The FSC #164 October 2022 MP3-archives (with all the songs) will be posted in the FSC Private Member Forum later tonight and the FSC October 2022 Show will be posted tomorrow, Sunday!
