Hi all

Thank you so much for your patience while we tried to work out the issues that have been plaguing the forum for the past week. We are getting there but there are still issues in the coding that we are trying to fix.

Posting and making threads now works once more, however there is a lengthy red error message that comes up when you post. You can ignore this, and your post will be there when you refresh. We are of course working to remove this as this isnt an optimum performance for the site.

Once again thank you for your patience and we will update you in due course should we make any further progress.

Hi everyone

We are working on a fix for the issue with the error message, however it is a delicate blend as we also need to make sure we don't accidentally do anything to cause issues on the main ESC United news site. Technology eh?

Hold tight, I know this has been a major pain but there are obviously many bugs that have arrived that we need to fix. Thank you for your patience xrose

UPDATE

Forum appears to now be back at full functionality with no errors when posting. The website is still experiencing issues but such is the delicate balancing act of technology.

Once again thank you all so much for your patience over the last week, this particular round of issues has certainly been a challenge. If you notice any bugs or issues please report them to myself, @Matt or @Trece and we will investigate further.

Hi all

We had more storage related issues over the last few days but we have hopefully now fixed this going forward. Apologies once again for the recent outages.

Hello

We are working on removing this error once more, but the above is still true for now.

Thanks again for your patience and tolerance as we worked through the latest outage.

In short, the recent issues have been caused by a currently unidentified issue with storage, with the servers being eaten up in rapid time by something we are currently hoping to identify with our hosts. Once we have worked out what is causing these issues we hope to identify and fix the issue once and for all. Until then, there is the possibility of intermittent service outages in future. Posting is back up and running, but the error message persists. Rest assured the post has been made if you refresh the page - please do not submit twice.

Hopefully it does not come to this but this will be communicated across the ESC United social media channels and my personal Twitter @SeanESCUnited. Please keep an eye on these channels for any service updates going forward.

Once again this is far from ideal and I am aware of how frustrating this may be - as am I at the level of service we have recently been providing. I can only apologise as we look to identify and nullify this issue permanently.

Hi all

Apologies but we cannot get hold of the one person who was able to fix the error message last time, I am working on hopefully getting it fixed and removed for good ASAP - sorry for the inconvenience. I am aware how unprofessional it is right now but fingers crossed it will be rectified soon
