German government gives the DFL "green light" to continue the season in the second half of May.
The DFL will make the final decision about the date and the conditions of the re-start only tomorrow but from what I've heard the re-start date will likely be the 15th or 16th May.
It's certainly a positive thing for the Bundesliga to get the full unshared attention of world's football fans at least for a couple of weeks until other leauges will follow plus the football maniacs arent forced to watch Belarussian league any longer.
Does anybody know about the restart plans of England, Italy and Spain? Currently it is hardly imaginable that one of these countries can go back to normal anytime soon.
Today, Italian Sports Minister said it's impossible to set date for Serie A return, but FIGC is looking forward to have matches by the end of May
La Liga is also postponed by indefinite time, but some are hopeful La Liga will return by mid-June
There are some plans to resume Premier League in June, but nothing is sure here too
The Norwegian league still hasn't got a starting date either, and since Norwegians are now starting to get desperate, TV2 has bought the rights for the Faroese Premier League, Betrideildin, and will start broadcasting matches this weekend, when the league starts. And I will watch, at least some of the matches.
“🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨 The Austrian Government has given the green light for the Austrian Bundesliga to return! The Bundesliga is expected to resume on June 2nd, with the ÖFB Cup Final taking place on May 30th. It's back!”
I cannot even count or repeat chronological what has happened in the last 14 days to explain why it is too early to restart. I do understand the urge of coming back, but insted of writing contradictory papers on how to play safely, they should've focused on how to avoid mass insolvences cojointly with the politics instead.
I can only hope it will blow up and the politics has to cancel all restarting tries. Let's have a break unti l September and start from zero there.
Bayern set a new Record with 16 Victories, 1 Draw, 0 Losses, 54:10 Goals in the 2nd Half.
Schalke finished the 2nd Half as 17th Place with 9 Points and -28 Goals.
Hamburg and Heidenheim are fighting for Place3 and the Relegationmatch vs Bremen.
Hamburg is losing 1:5 at Home against the 12th Place Sandhausen and Heidenheim 0:3 vs the Winner Bielefeld.
Pretty embarassing.
7 League Titles in a row for Red Bull Salzburg after defeating Hartberg 3-0 this afternoon and LASK losing against WAC. They've scored 102 goals in 30 League Games with still two games to play.
