Midnight, it's time to put your face on
Game set, a killer shark in heels
I'm just the first shot on your hit list
High kicks, a predator on wheels
Woke up with bruises on my body
Hands tied, like Jesus on the cross
Your name's in lipstick on the mirror

Jezebel
I don't know how you got in my blood
Was it the dangerous things you do?
You always wanted to be a star
Jezebel
If you're the hunter then I'm the prey
You lick your lips as you walk away
Your final kiss is to leave a scar
On a heart
Jezebel

At night you turn into a tiger
A girl who looks like she's a boy
The world's most ultimate survivor

Jеzebel (Jezеbel)
I don't know how you got in my blood (Jezebel)
Was it the dangerous things you do? (Jezebel)
You always wanted to be a star
Jezebel (Jezebel)
If you're the hunter then I'm the prey (Jezebel)
You lick your lips as you walk away (Jezebel)
Your final kiss is to leave a scar
On a heart

Sunrise, you crawl under the covers
Sleep tight until the dying sun
Tonight you'll catch another lover
Jezebel

Jezebel (Jezebel)
I don't know how you got in my blood (Jezebel)
Was it the dangerous things you do? (Jezebel)
You always wanted to be a star
Jezebel (Jezebel)
If you're the hunter then I'm the prey (Jezebel)
You lick your lips as you walk away (Jezebel)
Your final kiss is to leave a scar
On a heart

not the best 2 songs on the 5th and 6th place:cry:

Don't get me wrong: I have liked all the songs and I think they are at least good. But Younghearted's and Olivera's songs are not my cup of tea, so they are the bottom of my ranking list. But what I said before, I will decide UMK-live show, who I will vote;).

Tommi is last in my ranking now, but his song is cool. Could have been stronger though, especially coming from Haloo Helsinki!

There's no bad choice for Finland – there's no OMG factor like "I Love You" and "Cicciolina" though. It makes the whole story interesting!

1. Younghearted 8/10
2. Olivera 7,5/10
3. The Rasmus 7/10
4. Cyan Kicks 6/10
5. Bess 6/10
6. Tommi Läntinen 5,5/10

You think that's bad? In the 90s any average singer tonight they would sound like Mariah Carey if they just stretched words out as much as possible, for example "truth" became "turoo-oo-ooth." it was horrible!xfacepalm
Sure! When singing becomes imitation, I lose interest. Of course, inspiration is fine, but when you meet Mariah Carey #10 or Billie Eilish #12 or Lana del Rey #15, it's feels more like a pathetic attempt to copy/paste a success.

I'm pretty excited about Isaac Sene already! An insider who had already heard the song compared it to Soldi and Lauri from The Rasmus compared it to Michael Jackson so that sounds very promising!

In general UMK has very high quality this year and there are several entries I would be happy to send to Eurovision. Ram Pam Pam and Jezebel are my favourites but all songs are actually good.

It would be really interesting to see a finnish pop banger on the Eurovision stage. Maybe it's not as catchy as I would've hoped, but the production is slick ass hell. Could be staged very nicely!

Finish last entry: Isaac Sene - "Kuuma jäbä" beat is all right, I liked it, and it is different, but I definitelly need more vocals here...without a single doubt, so it will be in the middle for me..

2. Tommi Lantinen - "Elama kantaa mua" 9/10
3. The Rasmus – “Jezebel” 8/10
4. Younghearted – “Sun numero” 7/10
5. Isaac Sene - "Kuuma jaba" 5/10

Tumblr, mostly.
:8: Isaac Sene - "Kumma jäbä" (FLAMBOYANT BISEXUAL KING xheart Finally an artist inspired by TheWeeknd who doesn't fucking copy riffs off his most popular tracks - looking at YOU, mr G:sson. )
:8: Younghearted - "Sun Numero" (Astounding how Old School Eesi Laul Indie keeps finding its way into other countries' NFs)

:7: BESS - "Ram pam pam" (Bess called in "I WANT THE GAYS. ALL OF THEM" and I'm just like, yass girl take my wig)
:7: Oliveira - Thank God I'm an Atheist" (Serves a bit too much Buhnanies n Awocadoesh, but i like the overall vibe and am laughing HARD at the meltdowns it inspired amongst the religious fanatics despite having zero anti-religion lyrics besides the title xheart )
:7: Cyan Kicks - "Hurricane" (Adequate juvenile softrock, surely there's no way this will age poorly)
:7: Tommi Läntinen - "Elämä kantaa mua" (Schlager rock KING xheart Plz bring a Harley as an actual prop)

:6: The Rasmus - Jezebel (A disappointingly tame entry from The Rasmus compared to the rest of their work, but by itself still serviceable enough. Plus I trust Lauri to be good live)

A fully green selection. Easily the best UMK since 2015. Well done, Suomi ;-)

Edit: I will be JUDGING you if you don't like Isaac Sene @RainyWoods, but no pressure ^_^

I like really Kümma jaba maybe because I find it an interesting entry after all, really modern, but in a good way in my opinion. I'm really curious to see this one live.

My top 7 before the live is as it follows:

1 - The Rasmus - Jezebel 10/10
2 - Bess - Ram Pam Pam 9/10
3 - Isaac Sene - Kümma jaba 8/10
4 - Cyan Kicks - Hurricane 7/10
5 - Younghearted - Sun Numero 7/10
6 - Tommi Läntinen - Elämä kantaa mua 7/10
7 - Olivera - Thank God I'm an atheist 6/10 (I upgrade this to a 6, because actually the lyrics are good and the song will be interesting. The only thing is I don't stand her vocals, but this is subjective)

Ps: Great National selection, arguably the best NF we have this year, at least until now. You know it's really a great one, when everyone has different opinions, because it means the field is wide open for everybody to choose the same winner.

Oh no. The pressure. I'm nervous now.

Such a sensually scrumptious synth pop hit. It automatically started playing for me with English subtitles and I was in shock. A super sexy and hypnotic song with an artist to match. This is REALLY good. Wow, what a day for songs. First Voyager destroying my tender body in Australia and now Isaac Sene beating my corpse with a hot iron rod.

1. Isaac Sene - Kuuma jaba = 10/10
2. The Rasmus - Jezebel = 9/10
3. Tommi Läntinen - Elämä kantaa mua = 7/10
4. BESS - Ram pam pam = 7/10
5. Cyan Kicks - Hurricane = 5/10
6. Olivera - Thank God I’m an Atheist = 5/10
7. Younghearted - Sun numero = 3/10

Another very solid UMK, as is to be expected at this point. Finland though for whatever reason hate me despite my mother cursing me to a lifetime of inescapable flaming homosexuality when she named me after her gay Finnish friend. Younghearted will win if the pattern of sending whatever I don't like from your NFs continues. I deserve a treat though for once. I'd really like Kuumba Jaba. Consider it making up for denying me Eini, Erika Vikman, Opera Skaala and Teflon Brothers. Heck, I wasn't even given the Darude song I enjoyed.

May we never forget the all time greatest NF bop 🙌
